Epilogue - five years later

"Mommy!" a light voice squeals from the hallway, just a few seconds later, something heavy makes my bed bounce.

I open my eyes to see our four year old daughter, Allison, sitting on the mattress with a smile plastered on her face.

"Mommy, wake up!" she squeals. "Wake up! It's Christmas!"

I sit up on my elbows and look around in the bedroom, it's still dark outside.

Allison crawls under the covers by my side, at the space Theo is supposed to be. He's overseas to film some movie, he hasn't been home for a month and a half. I miss him like hell, but he's coming home today, for Christmas break.

"Where's your--" I start to ask Allison where her younger brother is, but in the same second Austin, our two year old son, steps into the room.

He's scratching his eyes with his tiny fists, looking very tired, when he stands still, he sways a little.

"Momma," he complains, his adorable voice filling the room. "Allison woke me up but I said I wants to sleep but she wouldn't listen and I tired," he says it all in one long breath.

I look at Allison with raised eyebrows, she just flashes a smile and I can't help but grin a little and shake my head.

"C'mere, baby," I say and reach my arms out for Austin. He totters to me on his tiny, bare feet and jumps into my arms.

He curls into a ball against me and buries his head in my neck, my hand strokes his small back.

"I miss daddy," Austin mumbles after a few minutes. He lifts his head and I realize how sad he looks.

I plant a kiss on his forehead, "I miss him, too, sweetie. But he will be home in a few hours, remember?"

My son smiles a little and nods, then Allison jumps out of the bed and squeals, "has Santa been here?"

"Let's go downstairs and look for him," I say with a smile.

Austin jumps down from my lap and follows his sister downstairs, they have always been very close to each other, though, Allison sometimes can be a little strict and certain.

I get up from the bed to get dressed in Theo's sweats and a t-shirt, before I pull the shirt over my head, I lay a hand on my stomach and look at it in the mirror.

I'm seven weeks pregnant. With twins. That means that we're going to have four children. I haven't told Theo, Allison or Austin yet. The only ones who knows it, is my mom and Tanner, because they were there when I found out.

I'm planning on telling Theo today, when he comes home. I'm nervous about how he will react, because I don't know if four children will be too much. Well, it's not like we can change it now, but anyways. What if he doesn't want so many children? He has always told me that he wants a big family, but what if he regret?

Allison and Austin are running around the Christmas tree when I get downstairs, they're poking the presents, which I placed under the tree last night before I went to bed. When they notice me, they stand straight up with their hands behind their backs, acting like they didn't do anything.

Austin giggles and I stop in the doorway, cross my arms over my chest and look at them with raised eyebrows.

"No one are poking the presents down here, right?" I say but can't hide the smile on my lips.

"Nope," Allison says, she pops the p and shakes her head.

"Mommy," Austin says, "can we open the presents?"
