Since we're in public, Theo doesn't take my hand in his, as he would usually do, we just walk side by side in the direction of the exit in LAX, my mom's waiting at home with Tanner so we'll just take a cab to get there.

Theo seems nervous about meeting my family but also excited. I've told him much about how my mom's like, how she make delicious food, how she's very protective and how much I love everything about her. I also told him about Tanner, how addicted he is to his computer, how good of a young boy he is, and how close we are.

My mom and Tanner still live in the house I grew up in, in Simi Valley. It's a normal, classic house, not too big, not too small, just perfect.

The last time I was home, was at my grandma's funeral, I only stayed there for a few days, since it was in the middle of shooting.

Theo places a hand on my lower back and we both stop walking, he calls a cab, loads our suitcases in the trunk and holds the door for me to sit in.

Once we're heading off for Simi Valley, I rest my head on Theo's shoulder and close my eyes. Travelling always makes me so tired, and I'm really scared of being on an airplane.

Theo's hand travels up and down my thigh, making chills coursing through my body. He kisses the top of my head, "Did you tell your mom that I'm coming too?"

If I told my mother? Yes.

Did she get excited? Heck yes.

When I told her a few days ago, that I would come home and take my boyfriend with me, she got so excited that she almost dropped the phone out of her hand. The fact that her daughter finally got a boyfriend again, was nearly too much for her, in the good way of course.

"Mhm," I say with closed eyes, just focusing on Theo's hand on my thigh. "She's really excited to meet you."

I feel Theo's lips form into a smile against my hair, "I'm excited to meet her too."

Once the cab driver stops the car, I look out of the car window and smile.

My mom's house is right there, with lights shining from the living room and kitchen, lighting up the street in a dull orange color.

"Looks like we're here," Theo says with a smile and opens the car door.

We both step out on the street, the air in Los Angeles is way warmer than in Atlanta, and even though it's almost October my big sweater feels heavy and warm on my shoulders.

The cab driver helps us with our suitcases, and Theo pays him with a 50 dollar bill, telling him to keep the change, which makes the small driver seems like we just made his day.

As soon as the cab is gone and Theo and I walk towards the house with our suitcases, Theo grabs my hand and rubs small circles in my palm with his thumb. He pulls my arm making me stop walking and look up at him, without any warning, he leans down, cups my face and kisses me soft on the lips.

When he pulls back, he smirks, "I've missed that."

I grin at him and bite my lip, "It's only been a few hours, Theo"

He smiles, "I know. But that's also way too long not to be able to touch you."

I smile and bite my lip, Theo brings his hand to my lips and separates my lip from my teeth, "Stop doing that. You know it turns me on."

I laugh and turn towards the house, "c'mon"

In the second I ring on the doorbell, it gets ripped open. It opens so fast that I really suspect my mom to have spied on us through the peephole.
