I see Elliot walk into the kitchen with a very guilty look in his eyes, just as I stand on the last step of the stairs.

Once I enter the kitchen behind him, he's standing with his little sister in his arms, a very proud smiling Theo next to them.

"I'm sorry, Lily. I didn't mean to make you sad" Elliot says and lays a hand on her head.

Gently, she pushes it away, "it's okay, Elli."

I stand in the doorway and look at them, can it be more adorable? Two siblings in the age of three and five, hugging each because one of them made the other sad.

"Uncle Theo?" Elliot asks, Theo looks from Lily to him. Elliot grins wryly, "can I get some bacon?"

"Sure" Theo says and turns to his sister. Just as she turns around to say something to him, he grabs a piece of bacon from the frying pan. "Here you go"

Elliot takes it and tucks it away in two mouthfuls.

"Theo..." Jessica says and rolls her eyes.

"What? The kid was hungry," Theo says innocently. Elliot grins and Theo gives him a high five.

"I'm actually trying to raise two kids not to be greedy and spoiled, and you're not helping it getting easier," Jessica says.

Theo grabs Elliot's armpits without struggle and sets him on the kitchen counter.

I walk into the kitchen and sit down at the kitchen table on the opposite side than Theo's dad, Phillip. Theo was right when he said that he didn't say much, he's just reading his newspaper and drinking his coffee without getting bothered about all the noise filling the kitchen.

I look at Theo while he's in what a looks like a deep conversation with Elliot, my eyes move from his back to his butt filling out his black jeans.

Theo laughs at something Elliot said and turns around, "Shai?"

I move my gaze to his eyes and smile, he wriggles his eyebrows and turns around to Elliot again. He's grinning big at his uncle, I guess I just got busted...

"Shai, sweetie?" Jane's voice sounds.

I look up at her, "yes?"

"Can you set the table for me, please? Looks like my sons aren't so likeable to help."

I smile, "Of course"

"Don't do it, Shai!" Jacob's voice sound as he enters the kitchen.

"Shut up and help a little!" Jane bursts out.

Jacob mumbles something I can't hear, but he eventually helps me set the table.

Theo tickles Elliot and starts to chase him around the house, Cookie barks and follows them around with a wagging tail.

This family makes me so happy, they're all so kind and happy, that I get jealous of Theo who grew up with them all. His siblings are just as kind as himself, at least the three of them; I haven't met the last one yet. And his parents are also very kind, his mom's one for herself, very strict the first moment and then the next, very kind and calm. But I really like her so much considering that I've only known her for a less than 24 hours.

She reminds me a little of Mrs. Weasley from Harry Potter actually.

And then there's Elliot and Lily, the cutest kids I've ever met so far. They love their uncle Theo more than anyone and they mean the world to him. Theo's going to be a great father someday, I can see that in the way he's playing with them.

In my head, I imagine a mini Theo running around in my house, he's calling his dads name and Theo appears right after, he smiles big at his son and picks him up to set him on his hip. The house we're in, is owned by Theo and I, I'm wearing a wedding ring on my right hand, and Theo has a matching one. He winks at me as he turns around and walks with our five year old son upstairs.

I shake my head and return to reality. How can I be so stupid thinking such things? Yes, Theo and I have a strong relationship and it's going to last at least a few years. But getting married and having kids are maybe a little too much to ask for.
