Chapter 8

It was morning when Yewon was walking the garden that was located in the palace, the cherry flowers had wither and bloom again but nothing have change. 

It has been exactly 1 month when she came to live in the Westland and she was still lonely and only missing one person in her heart. Will he ever leave her heart?

Eunbi: "My lady, the cherry blossom had bloom again."

Yewon: "Cherry blossom..."

She remembers that cherry blossom was the object that made Seokjin and her love bloom deeply. The cherry blossom that was on the cloth and on the hairpin will always be something that can never be forgotten.

While looking at the cherry blossom, there was a loud noise from the pond that was near the garden. Yewon and Eunbi went to see what is happening but they stop when they see the Royal Queen standing there while Jungkook was in the water making his way out. 

He went on his knees, "I apologize royal mother."

Royal Queen: "Do you know what you did wrong in this world?"

He did not answer but continue to look at the ground with his fist clenched tightly. 

Royal Queen: "The fact that you were born from a concubine is your biggest mistake."

Jungkook: "I am sorry."

Royal Queen: "You are just a low prince, do not ever think about getting the throne."

After saying that, she left with all her servants and he continue to sit there in pain. He knew that his mother was used from the King. Although his mother was a princess that was force to marry the king, she love him sincerely after they had Jungkook.

Yewon turns away from Jungkook, who was dripping wet, and begin to walk away from him. After walking a few steps, she stops and turn back towards him with her small handkerchief. As she reaches him, she lower herself down and wipe the water from his face. 

Jungkook looks at her for a while and begin tearing in front of her for the first time and that is when she knew that he was strong person with a sad heart. She knew that he grew up with no love and experience the life of being alone. She remembers his look when she cook the soup for him, it was the first time someone cooked soup for him after drinking so much. 

Yewon hug him tightly and pat his head, "Cry as much as you can right now, then get back up and fight."

Jungkook continues to cry on her shoulder because it was the only thing he can do, for the first time after a long time, someone was willing to hold on to him and embrace him like his mother did.

After a while of crying, Jungkook can be seen having little energy so both Eunbi and Yewon help him towards his chamber. They lay him down on the bed softly and Yewon turns over to Eunbi, "Go grab some new pair of fresh clothes and tell a servant to change his pair of clothes."

Eunbi: "Yes, my lady."

After changing his clothes, Yewon enter the chamber and sit on a chair next to him. She touches his head, "I am sorry for everything I done to you. I was blinded by hatred that I did not know you was also struggling. I knew that it was all my fault but I wanted to blame someone for the death of..."

Jungkook starts coughing and sweating while he was laying down so Yewon yell for someone to bring warm water and a cloth. 

She starts wiping his sweat and continue to do so until he seem to have calm down with the sweating, she then ask for them to brew some herbs so she can give it to him. 

After a whole day of taking care of him, she fell asleep on the table while holding the cloth that she use to wipe him. Although Yewon wanted Seokjin to be the one who was by her side, she can not hate Jungkook because he never intended for anything to happen. 

It was during the middle of the night when Jungkook woke up and see that Yewon was sleeping uncomfortably with her head on the table. He looks around and notice that Yewon had taken care of him, he smile a bit and got up from the bed. After looking at her for a bit, he carries her towards the bed.

While lowering her down, Yewon move and Jungkook fell towards her and touch her lips slightly. He quickly got up from her and touch his lip, his cheeks burn red. After standing in shock for a while, he sits on the chair that was near the bed and simply just look at her sleeping. 

Jungkook: "You hate me so much but why did you take care of me?"

He smile for a bit and then stops when he realize he was smiling; he left the room and went back to his chamber. 

Jungkook: "Why am I feeling like this?"

He touch his lips and smile once again, his heart was opening for her without knowing.

It was morning when Yewon woke up from her sleep, "Why am I sleeping on the bed?"

She starts to look for Jungkook because she wanted to make sure that he was doing fine after yesterday. 

Yewon: "Eunbi!"

Eunbi came running into the room quickly, "Yes, my lady?"

Yewon: "Jungk- I mean... where did the 14th prince go?"

Eunbi: "Oh, he left somewhere last night from what I remember."

Yewon: "Ah, that is good then."

It was after a while when Yewon decided to go out for a walk outside in the garden again, she stands near the cherry blossom and simply stares at the flower that was falling down. 

Yewon: "Eunbi, can you leave me alone for a few minutes?"

Eunbi allows Yewon to stay alone while she went to clean other things.

Yewon: "I always thought that you would always be by my side and continue to smile at me. I guess I took everything we had for granted, had I known you would leave then I would of love you more."

There was someone behind her and he clear his throat slightly for her to turn around; she turns around. As she turn around, the flower fall around her making her look more as a flower fairy and it made Jungkook's heart flutter.

Jungkook: "Umm.. I have something to give you..."
