Chapter 34

Tae: "Are you okay?"

Yewon: "I thought that I will be okay when I really see him leave but... I was wrong."

Tae: "No one is never ready for goodbye."

Yewon: "All these times, I had been blinded by hatred and in the end...it not only killed me but other people around me. If I had told him I love him and had told him that I was willing to be his queen forever then... will the ending be different?"

Tae: "Even though the process is different, the outcome will always stays the same. Even if you had love him, he can not escape the fate that he must marry another princess. In the end, you will be discarded in order to protect the nation."

Yewon: "I hope that one day when we cross path, we will be able to pass each other without pain in our heart."

Jimin grab onto Yewon arm and pull her towards the other direction of the carriage. 

Jimin: "We will wait until the carriage is out of sight."

As they walk the other direction of the carriage, Yewon took one last look at the carriage and turn away slowly from it.

{If this is our ending, then let it be. Although it is a sad ending, it is a ending that may lead to a new beginning.}

Yerin: "Do you hate me?"

Jungkook did not answer her but stares the other direction of her. 

Yerin: "You and I have been good friends since young and I like you so-"

Jungkook: "You got everything you want, what else do you want more?"

Yerin: "I have everything besides your love. Please, Jungkook... I will treat you better than her! You-you do not have to love me, all I am asking is for you to stay by my side."

Jungkook: "No matter what you do, I will ONLY love Yewon."

Yerin: "Everyone says my father is the cruelest man in the world, but... you are more cruel."

Jungkook: "I learned too late that in order to survive in the world, one must be cruel."

After saying that with devil's eyes, he stop the carriage in order to ride a horse instead of being with Yerin.

Yewon and the rest of the group were help by a traveler and was able to find a ride to the Northland.

When they enter the Northland, it was early in the morning and everyone was already out doing their errands for the day. 

Jimin: "Mother, I will try to go look for a place for us to stay."

Yewon: "I will go with you."

Jimin nods and both of them went around searching for a place that is not too expensive for them to stay at. 

Yewon: "If we can not find one, then what should we do? We do not have much money."

Jimin smiles, "Then we can build a little home in the forest with a path leading to the city and near the river. Also, maybe we can start a little clinic where we can save many people and earn money. I promise I will make you, Tae, and my mother happy in the Northland."

Yewon laughs slightly, "You remind me of someone."

Jimin turn to look at her, "Who?"

Yewon: "A friend. He is always protecting my happiness that he forget about his own happiness."

Jimin: "Maybe his happiness was you.."

Yewon: "You think so?"

Jimin: "I believe so."

Yewon: "Let hurry and find a place, if not... then we can hurry and build a home in the forest."

They both laugh and went to look for a cheap place, however, it was hard to find one in the Northland.

They were kicked out from many place for trying to lower the price and being difficult due to their circumstance. 

Boss: "I told you that if I lower the price, then my business will lose profit."

Yewon: "Please boss, we really need a place for now. If you help us, we can pay you more later on."

Boss: "Servants, drag these people out!"

A few of the servants begin pulling on Yewon and Jimin out the resting place and out the door. They push Yewon and she fell onto the ground weakly since she was still recovering from the pain she receive at the Southland, then her cloth that was covering her face fell off and drop to the ground. 

Jimin notices it and attempts to grab onto the cloth but the servants push him aside to look at Yewon. 

Servant 1: "Look at this girl, she is so ugly!"

Servant 2: "Who will marry you if you are that ugly?"

They all start throwing things at her and push her around, she force herself up but they push her down again. 

Jimin: "MOVE! DO NOT TOUCH HER!"

Jimin grabs onto the cloth and push the servants away from her, he cover her face and hug her tightly in his chest. 

Jimin: "GO AWAY! Do not bother her!"

The servants all start throwing little pebbles that were around them at both Jimin and Yewon, he continues to held her close and took all the pebble that was directed at her.

Servants: "Monster!"

Sojung: "STOP!"

Servants: "9th princess..."

Guard: "KNEEL!"

They all kneel in front of Sojung, then Jimin quickly put the cloth on her face but Sojung caught a glimpse of Yewon. 

Jimin: "It is okay... Yewon."

Sojung: "Princess Yewon...?"
