Chapter 28

                                                (End of flashback)

Seokjin: "Did you know on that night of the marriage, how much I needed you and wanted you?"

Yewon stands up and walk toward Seokjin was sitting on the table, she went to sit near him and touch his face like how Eunha did and tears can be seen falling down her face. 

Yewon: "My Seokjin is all grown up, you did well. I do not hate you for doing what you did."

Seokjin cries harder before pulling her into a tight hug, "Do you know how much I wanted to hear these words from you!"

Yewon pats him in the back while he cries on her shoulder, "You took responsibility, I would of hate you more if you did not."

Seokjin: "I failed you. I failed our promise. I failed... our oath."

Yewon: "No... no you did not. I am happy you are alive, do you know that all these months, I missed you and blame myself for losing you. I blame myself for not being able to protect you as a princess."

Seokjin pull away from the hug and then held her shoulders with his two hands, "Even if I had died, I do not blame you. It was me who took you, I do not regret it."

Yewon smiles with tears in her eyes, "We both know that it is too late to go back. But it is not late for the future."

Seokjin: "What-what are you trying to do?"

Yewon touch his face again to wipe the tears, "Let us run away together, we can live together and be happy again."

Seokjin's eyes wanders around before laying it back on Yewon, he stutters, "I- I..."

Yewon: "Why do you hesitant? We have found each other!"

Seokjin: "I am happy you are alive but-"

Yewon laughs before hitting him slightly on the shoulder, "You fool. The person you love is no longer me."

Seokjin: "What are you talking about? It is you."

Yewon: "I never understand the meaning of love until I lost someone. When you love someone, you do not wish to see that person hurt because of you. And because you see the love that the person is trying to give you, you allow them to enter without knowing that they already became engrave in your heart."

Seokjin thought about the time where he lived a simple life with Eunha and how he will come home with her smiling. He thought about all the times he hurt her with his words and regret doing so, and at times he even forgot about Yewon and live happily for a few moments. He regret not giving her all his love and regret even more that she been hurting all the time because of his unrequited love. 

Seokjin: "I..."

Yewon smiles again and drop her hand down slowly, "You and I have change within the months. We had blinded ourselves and believed it was love when it was really guilt within ourselves. So today, I let you go. I allow you to be free and I hope you do the same."

Yewon: "I want to take you to a place in the morning, will you accompany me?"

Seokjin: "Okay. I will."

She smiles and then look at the door, "I think you have some words with your wife. You and her are both naïve, you both tried to lock someone without locking the window."

Seokjin laughs and held her hand, "Thank you, Yewon. Thank you for forgiving me and thank you...for being alive."

Yewon: "Go, she is probably crying thinking you and I are together."
