Chapter 37

The bell of the King had ring and everyone begin to flock around the main building of the royal king. 

Jungkook and the rest of the prince were gather around and the royal mother was sitting on the throne next to her husband; she was weeping. 

King: "I announce... the crown prince have... passed away."

All the other prince were shock while some were happy now since they are able to take over the title of being call the crown prince. 

Jungkook can be seen smiling from ear to ear with his red eyes, it seems as if he had no slept for a long time. 

Namjoon came running in after reaching in the Westland from the Northland, he sighs as he enter the room where no one was sad. 

10th prince: "Royal father, I think it is time you choose the new crown prince."

King: "My first son had died and my 2nd son is not able to be crown prince because of health issues. I have three sons left which is the 5th prince, 10th prince, and the youngest one 13th prince."

The 10th prince look directly at the 5th prince with jealousy, "Royal father, I will protect the throne. Give me the throne."

King: "According to the rules, I must give the crown prince title to the 5th prince."

The 5th prince drop onto his knees, "Royal father, I do not wish for the title."

King: "You are my 5th son, it is only right for you to take the throne."

Namjoon: "Royal father!"

King: "Starting today, the crown prince will be the 5th prince."

Jungkook then turn angrily at Namjoon with his fist close tightly, he no longer saw Namjoon as a brother but now as a enemy.

It was during the late night when Jungkook went to go see Namjoon in his chamber. 

Namjoon: "I know why you are here."

Jungkook: "Give up the title. Give it to me."

Namjoon: "Jungkook ah...the crown prince...did you kill him?"

He starts laughing with tears in his eyes, "I did."

Namjoon: "Why did you do it? Do you really wish to take the throne?"

Jungkook: "I realize that I NEED TO GAIN POWER! Then I can destroy the Southland and protect Yewon."

Namjoon: "Jungkook... I saw Yewon in the Northland."

Jungkook turn quickly at Namjoon, "What?"

Namjoon: "She wants you to be happy, it is the only thing she wants you to do. Do that for her..."

Jungkook: "How can I be happy... without her? If I get the throne, she will be able to stay by my side!"

Namjoon: "As a friend of Yewon, leave her alone. She has went through so much in this kingdom, let her go."

Jungkook: "You just want me to let her go so you can have her when you are king! I would not allow ANYONE TO HAVE HER!"

He starts laughing again and it cause Namjoon to fear, "Jungkook! This is not who you are!"

Then a loud scream can be hear and the kingdom was in chaos, "The King have been attack!"

Namjoon look directly at Jungkook before punching him afterwards, "What did you do!?"

Jungkook laugh, "It has started...the war for the throne."

Namjoon drops him and run down the path towards the King's chamber. Jungkook then stands up and look at Namjoon running down, "It is too late to return to how I was before."
