Chapter 30

Jungkook went on his knees, "I apologize, your majesty. But I most find Princess Yewon, she had risk her life for me."

King: "Did you forget my request?"

Jungkook: "Your majesty, I did not however I can not just leave the 13th princess in a land where she does not know anyone."

King: "I will have my men look for her and send her back to her nation, but you can not leave my daughter to find her. You must take her back to the Westland by the end of this week and proclaim her as your one and only wife. If not, do not blame me for entering your country with my army."

Jungkook: "Your majesty..."

King: "I have said what I want to say, it is your choice now to fail your people and the unity of both nation for a woman."

Yerin stands up and went to sit on the table as she smiles thinking she will finally get to marry the person she had always like. After a while, they all left Jungkook in the room alone, Jungkook did not know what to do. He wants to go find her but at the same time, many lives were upon his shoulders. 

After drawing a picture of the man who took Yewon, he yelled for the general. 

Jungkook: "GENERAL KIM!"

The general of the Westland enters the room, the king of the Westland had sent him to protect Jungkook upon hearing the attack on them in the woods. 

Kim: "Yes, 14th prince."

Jungkook stands up and walk toward him, "Go find the 13th princess and bring her to me! There is a leader of the thieves that took her, if you find any of them... KILL THEM ALL!"

Kim: "I understand, 14th prince."

Jungkook: "Go, and do not disappoint me again."

General Kim took the drawing and went to look for the 13th princess and the person who took her. 

(I will find you and apologize sincerely, 13th princess.)

Yewon was getting ready with Jimin's mother until Jimin pull Yewon aside. 

Jimin: "Yewon! Have you ever been inside the city of the Southland?"

Yewon: "I have but not yet got the chance to look around."

Jimin: "Mother! I will take Yewon to visit the inside of the Southland before we leave tomorrow."

Jimin's mom: "Okay, but make sure to hide your face!"

Jimin: "I will, let us go Yewon!"

Yewon: "Wait, why do you have to hide your face?"

Jimin: "Because me and my mom are runaway slaves."

Yewon then remembers when Jimin said his father pass away after running away from his master with his family.

Yewon once had a bag full of silver that was given from Namjoon, but she regret losing it. It would have been able to help Jimin and his mother, all she has was a white jade bracelet that the thieves put on her for looks.

They enter the inside main village of the Northland and it was busy with people. There were many beautiful things on the street and many food as well. 

Yewon: "How pretty."

Jimin: "Welcome to the main village! Let me show you around!"

Jimin held onto her hand and they run around enjoying whatever they see, as they ran around, Jimin stops and look at a item that was display on the shelf. It was a mask that was engraved in white swirly lines and two white flowers on the side. 

Yewon: "Do you want it?"

Jimin look away from the mask and back at Yewon, "I just think it is pretty." 

Yewon went to the guy who was selling the mask and ask how much it was, although the price was cheap, they did not have enough money for the mask. 

Yewon: "Boss, do you think we can trade?"

Boss: "If it is a good trade, but if it is not then I can not."

Yewon took the bracelet off her arm and gave it the boss, "What about this?"

Boss: "Do you really think you want to give me this? This is a white jade bracelet is worth more than this mask. I do not want to cheat you since you look like a nice person, so I want you to think about it over."

Jimin: "Yewon, it is okay. The bracelet belongs to you, you do not have to-"

Yewon took the mask and gave Jimin it, "You and your mother took me in, I should at least do this much for you."

Boss: "Then how about you choose another mask for exchange for this bracelet?"

Yewon look around and found a white mask with two butterflies on the right side, she took it and left with Jimin after thanking the seller.

As they were walking, Jimin only look at the mask and just kept touching it. 

Jimin: "Yewon, you did not have to buy me the mask..."

Yewon: "It is okay, it is no big deal. The bracelet was nothing."

Jimin: "But thank you."

Yewon: "Do you really like that mask?"

Jimin: "When I was young, my father gave me a mask just like this one. It was my first gift from him but when we were running away, I lost it. I went back to retrieve it without thinking, and my father and brother came to bring me back but sadly, his master's people killed him. I was able to run away with my brother help."

Yewon: "Your brother?"

Jimin: "While running, my mother and we fell down a mountain side and I was not able to hold my brother hand tightly...I let go. We couldn't find him after that day. Yewon, to be honest with you... the reason why my mother and I are going around is to find my brother I lost 8 years ago. I did not tell you on that day on the cliff, but I did not want to mention him because he is not dead...I will find him."

Yewon: "You will find him one day. But, who was your master?"

Jimin: "It was the King of-"

Yewon notice General Kim walking toward her direction and remember him briefly from the palace of the Westland, she turns quickly and put the mask on her. 

Jimin: "What are you doing?"

Yewon grab onto his mask and put it on him, "You said you have to hide your face, let us hide our face. You never know when you will meet the people who are chasing you."

They walk pass the general but the general turn when he sense something was wrong with the two people in mask, "Wait for a minute, miss."
