Chapter 24

Yewon P.O.V

I had a dream. 

In this dream, I was not a princess nor the wife of the 14th prince. I was a ordinary young girl running around a garden with a man before me. 

When I reach out to him, he held my hand and we both run through the garden full of happiness. I called out his name, "Seokjin..." and saw him slowly turn. But he was not Seokjin, it was Jungkook. 

Jungkook smile at me before letting go then I see him fading out as he turn his back to me walking away. I called out for him but he just continue to fade, and I cried. I cried because I was not able to love him fully without feeling guilty.

Yewon woke up in a cabin with tears in her eyes, she sits up straight and wipe her tears away when a young girl enter the room.

Eunha: "You are awake?"

Yewon: "Where am I?"

Eunha: "Welcome to the secret village of the Southland, this is my cabin."

Yewon: "Secret village?"

Eunha: "Do not worry, we are still in the Southland. It is just we live in the forest, so many people call this a secret village."

Yewon: "Did you save me?"

Eunha: "It was not me but my husband."

Yewon: "Ah... please thank your husband for me."

Eunha: "Where did you come from?"

Yewon: "I...I am just a servant who have nowhere to go now."

Eunha: "You can live with us in the secret village. The people here are really nice and will welcome you."

Yewon: "Thank you."

Eunha: "What should I call you?"

Yewon: "Umji... you can just call me Umji."

Eunha: "Umji? Sounds nice, let me go introduce everyone to you."

At that moment, Eunha's husband enter the room with a pair of fresh clothes. He was still wearing the cloth over his face with his black clothes. 

Eunha: "Why are you still wearing that? We are in the secret village now, you can take it off. Umji, this is my husband Kim Taehyung."

Yewon stands up and then was about to go onto her knees, Taehyung then quickly went to grab onto her shoulders not letting her get onto her knees.

Taehyung: "It is fine..."

Yewon: "Thank you for saving me Mr. Kim. I, Umji, will repay you and not forget everything you done."

He lets her go, "Umji?"

(You are not her...)

When she went onto her knees, she respectfully thank him and stands up. 

At that time when she was standing up, the cloth Seokjin gave her fell out of her clothes and it sway back and forth then lays before Taehyung. He took a step back and reach down slowly to grab it, "This..."

Yewon: "It is a cloth I receive from someone, can I please have it back?"

Taehyung gave it back to her and continue to look at her before Eunha pull him away saying that she needs to rest.

It has been a few days when Yewon continue to stay with them in the secret village, she had met Eunha's father and her relatives. She likes their company.
