Chapter 38

After a few days, Sojung woke up in a small house in the main city. She woke up and went around looking for Namjoon and ask what had happen those days when she was not awake. No one was willing to tell her the truth but they treat her well and ask her to wait for Namjoon to come. 

When Namjoon heard she was up, he went running to the small house of the main city but stops at the main door. He hesitant for a while before opening the door, he sighs and opens the door and saw Sojung turn her head slowly towards him. 

She smile and run to hug him tightly, he wanted to hug back but he force himself to push her away. 

Namjoon then threw a bag of silver at her and it fell the ground, the servants took the clue and went outside while closing the door behind him. 

Sojung: "5th prince...what are you doing..?"

Namjoon: "Leave the Westland and go far away as possible."

Sojung smiles a bit, "I do not like this joke..."

Namjoon: "Because of you, I lost Yewon and now because of you again... I lost the throne. What else are you going to take away from me? Leave, I do not wish to see you anymore."

Sojung attempts to grab onto his hand but he pull it away, "Why are you doing this...? I-I am sorry...do not push me away..."

Namjoon: "LEAVE AND NEVER SHOW YOURSELF IN MY FACE AGAIN!"

Sojung reach to grab him one last time but he push her harder causing her to fall down on the floor. She saw his hesitation and look down, "Then why did you give me hope? Why did you not leave that time when I told you to go with Yewon?"

Namjoon: "Our marriage...I will end it today. If one day, you find someone better than me...then forget me and love him well. Do not meet someone like me ever again..."

He opens the door and walk out with the guards following him, Sojung tears at seeing his back walk away from her. She help herself up and grab onto the bag of silver, "I will not forget you..."

10th prince: "How did it go with the 9th princess? We must get rid of her in order for our plan to not fail. He will harm those you love."

Namjoon: "Our plan will go accordingly as planned."

10th prince: "5th brother, I want you to know that although I am helping you defeat 14th brother, I will fight you if you are also in the path of me getting the throne."

Namjoon: "When father died, we all are no longer brothers. We all are enemy fighting for the throne."

10th prince: "This rebellion will kill us all, you know that do you?"

Namjoon: "Or it will save our nation. And I take that chance."

Jungkook went into Yerin's chambers and stand at the doorway with a knife in his hand, "It is your turn, 15th princess."

Yerin laughs, "You would not, my father is the most powerful man in both the 4 nations. If you hurt me, he will destroy this nation."

Jungkook: "One nation can not defeat 3 nation all together."

Yerin: "You would not hurt me... I know you...you and I are friends and now I am your wife. You will not hurt-"

Jungkook: "That is where you are wrong, I can hurt you. GUARDS! COME GRAB HER!"

The guards came in and held onto Yerin, Jungkook took out a knife and walk closer to her. Jungkook raise the knife at Yerin face and put pressure on it, the knife went deep into Yerin face then he pull the knife down. She starts screaming in pain for him to stop but he continues to do it until it was a scar from her right cheek down; then he stops and threw the knife down.
