Chapter 22

Yewon quickly stands up but Jungkook held tightly onto her hand, he got up with her.

Jungkook: "Tell me, who is Seokjin?"

Yewon: "You need to rest."

Jungkook: "If you tell me, I would rest."

Yewon pull her hand away causing Jungkook to fall down in pain, she then runs to him and help him to lay on the pile of clothes. 

Jungkook grab her down, she sits, and he put his head onto her lap to make sure she stays there. 

Jungkook: "Tell me. Who is Seokjin?"

Yewon: "Seokjin is someone that I will never be able to repay. He taught me sword fighting when he was not good at it and he made sure to protect me. We made a promise when we were young to always stay with each other. But because of my selfishness of wanting him, he was killed."

Jungkook: "He was important to you?"

Yewon: "Not only important but he was... my first love." 

Jungkook then lift his body up and then turns around to face Yewon, he slowly rise his hand onto her face, "You said that if you never met him, you would love me. Is that true?"

Yewon hesitant, "I...I...I would but-"

Jungkook: "Then that is all that matter to me."

Jungkook look into her eyes and then leans in to kiss her, and she did not resist. She allows him to kiss her all he wants because she, for once, want to forget about Seokjin and fully enjoy the time she has with Jungkook before she leaves the world.

Jungkook lay her down and went on top of her, he starts taking off her first layer of clothes but Yewon stops him. When she stop him, he grab onto her hand and went forward onto her lips once again. 

While kissing her, his hand went slowly to loose her clothing and it successfully got to the last layer. When Jungkook pull on the last layer, the scene of Seokjin's death came to her once again and she pushes Jungkook off her. 

She recollect her clothes and put it on quickly, she got up and Jungkook run to hug her from the back.

Jungkook: "You love me, don't you? If you did not love me, why would you allow me to do that? In your heart, I am in there! Tell me that I am right!"

Yewon pushes him away, "Even if you are in my heart, I can not betray Seokjin!"

Jungkook: "For once, can you stop mentioning him? Every time, it is always Seokjin. Have you thought about how useless I felt when I can not have you? Have you even thought about me once on how I would feel if you leave me!?"

Yewon: "The person I love is Seokjin!"

Jungkook: "Then why did you let me be improper to you? You allow me to touch you!"

Jungkook then walk towards her, "Please...please just love me. Why do you keep running away from me?"

He stumbles but he continues to come closer with his hand reaching toward her, Yewon quickly pull out the broken hairpin and use the bottom piece to slice his hand. He stops and look down, it was the hairpin he gave her. The gift he gave her with love ends up cutting him in the hand with hatred and pain. 

 Jungkook's tears fell while he fall down to the ground to his knees. She then throws the bottom of the hairpin down to the ground after realizing what she had done.

Jungkook: "Wh-why did you do this? I-I gave you all my love. I do not understand what I gave you was not enough..."

Yewon starts crying and fell onto the ground, she scoots in closer to him and start hitting him in the chest.
