Chapter 40 {End}

{500 years later, the gods had allowed both Yewon and Jungkook to be reincarnate, however, they were fated to not be together in this lifetime.} 

 Grandma: "Jungkook ah, sit here. I have a story to tell you."

Jungkook was young at that time and was in trainee under big hit entertainment to become an idol, he had a future before him.

Grandma: "A long time ago, there was two lovers who never end up together because of revenge and power. She was a princess and he was a prince, but in the beginning she had already loved someone else. One day she was force to marry the prince and leave her lover, she was upset and hate him deeply. But because of the prince's kindness, she fell in love him. After a while, he must marry another woman but the father of that princess did not like the fact that he was already marry so he force him to hurt the person he loves the most. After that, he changed. Due to power and the thought of being able to keep the person he hurt by his side, he killed off many people. In the end, everything was ruined and he lost the person he loved and those who had loved him. Jungkook ah, do you think this story is sad?"

Jungkook: "Maybe they both were just not meant for each other."

Grandma: "It is not that, I want you to understand that power and revenge will not help you. You must learn to let go and accept the outcome as it already is. One day, karma will come to those who did wrong against you."

Jungkook: "As you wish grandma."

After that day, Jungkook was taught to be a respectful man with lots on his shoulder, he had a dream and wanted a future for him and his family so he worked hard toward that goal at the same time, the person he once loved was also working her way up.

Both Yewon and Jungkook became part of popular groups call Gfriend and BTS. They both, sometimes, were force to cross path but no once did they look at each other. Although at times, when they walk past each other, there will be sadness in their heart and tears will suddenly be brought into their eyes.

It was once in a lifetime, both the groups were invited to join a commercial together for family and they were able to meet and talk to each other for a bit. 

As they took pictures together, both Yewon and Jungkook were force to be next to each other since they were the youngest, Seokjin will look at Yewon a few times as if she felt familiar but he did not know that she had ended their destiny in the past life and cut ties with him.

They all took a picture and when it came out, Yewon just look at the picture and they were all smiling. 

Yewon: "I do not know how to explain this feeling but it is as if we all had meet each other before, it is as if fate had brought all of us back together to forgive or to love each other."

Jungkook listens to Yewon words and look at her, he smiles and say, "Who knows... I probably have done some people here wrong or love some people here. But I am glad the whatever the case, we all are here and smiling."

All of them all look at each other and smile, and it was the last time the two groups had contacted.

One of the best thing that was given to people was the ability to forget the past and live in the present. If the past life was still remembered, then the hatred, love, jealousy, and revenge will never end. 

The reason why the 14th prince and the 13th princess were not fated to be in this lifetime is because their past were too strong and too painful. If they are to be together, the story will begin again and there will be another painful ending. 

There is one thing everyone must accept, it is always better to stop before going into something you will regret in the future.

It was once stated that if you have a scar on your index finger from young, then there is still a person who is waiting and missing you from the past. They are waiting to love you again and waiting for you to come back and love them. 

Both the scar on Yewon and Jungkook left index finger symbolizes their past self who are still wishing to love and are waiting for the day they can be together, even if that day will never come.
