Chapter 32

Jungkook stares at the knife that was in his hand and he threw it on the ground, he tears when he turn back to look at Yewon. She fell forward but Jungkook was able to catch her before she hit the ground, she pull herself to sit instead of laying in his arms. She touch his face while he tries to stop the blood, he cries as the blood continues to make its way to his hand. 

Yewon: "Do not blame yourself for this...it is not your fault."

Jungkook: "I-I am sorry..."

Yewon smiles weakly at him with tears, "There has been some words that I wanted to tell you but never got the chance. I know it is too late now but..."

The King signal the guards to take the 14th prince away from Yewon. 

Yewon: "I-"

The guards came and pull Jungkook away from Yewon, he held tightly onto her hand as he beg them for a few more minutes. Some of the guards came to hold on Yewon while some other were pulling on Jungkook.

They pull Jungkook far away from her before she was able to let him know that she loves him, and she regret not telling him before. 

The guards that was holding onto Yewon let her go when they were able to pull Jungkook away from her, she look at his back as they pull him away and quietly says, "I love you..."

King: "Throw them out of the palace."

The servants then grab onto Yewon, Jimin, and General Kim and pull them to the chamber door that lead to the main city. They threw them out an closes the door on them, Jimin held tightly onto Yewon mask while he was wearing his. 

Yewon stumble a bit before she faints in the arm of General Kim. 

Jimin: "Yewon! Hurry! I think she lost too much blood! Let us take her to my mother!"

As Yewon sleeps on the bed in the cabin with the mother taking care of her, Jimin and General Kim was sitting away from the cabin. 

Jimin was holding onto Yewon's mask and his mask together, he held it tightly in his chest. 

General Kim: "That mask...how did you...?"

Jimin: "Yewon bought it for me."

General Kim: "Can I have a look at that mask?"

Jimin gave him the black mask with the white flower after a few hesitation. 

General Kim: "It is the same."

Jimin: "What is?"

General Kim: "I use to have a younger brother, he was two years younger than me and he love this mask... well.. a mask that is very similar to this. But..."

Jimin look at him, "What happened?"

General Kim: "During a chase, my younger brother dropped his mask and went back to retrieve it later on, my father went to get him back and they were chased by our old past master. He gave me the responsibility of taking care of my mother and my younger brother. But while running, we fell down a hillside and I...let go of his hand. It has been 8 years, and the image of my mother and brother is disappearing...I am trying to find them and tell them I am sorry."

Jimin smiles and stood up, he runs to General Kim and pull him up then give him a tight hug, "YOU FOUND US!"

General Kim looks confused and tries to push Jimin away, "What are you talking about?"

Jimin: "Tae...I am Jimin...your younger brother! And the person and there is our mom!"

Tae look at his face and touches it slightly, and the image of his mother and his younger brother face came again. 

Tae: "Our Jiminie...is it you?

Jimin: "It was my fault...I let go of your hand...it is not your fault..."

Tae pull him into a hug and shook his head, "No..no..do not blame yourself. It was me, I did not held strong enough."

While talking, the mother came out and witness Tae and Jimin hugging each other. 

Jimin look over at his mom and Tae did the same thing, as Tae walk closer to the mom, she drops the dirty clothes pf Yewon and run to him. She put her two hands on his face and tears came out of her eyes, "Is it you, Tae? Is it really you?"

Tae: "It is me, mother."

The mom cries and hug him tightly, "I-I am sorry for not recognizing you! Everything was so hectic that I did not even look at you! I knew that if I found you again, I will know it is you! You are so grown up!"

Tae: "I missed you, mother. All these years, I have tried my best to be strong and look for you and Jimin. I was going to give up, then I found both of you. I will never leave you two again!"

Mom: "I will not let anyone take you guys again! No one will be able to touch my two sons!"

After the tearful yet happy reunion, they all sit down together and talk about their journey after they were separated. But all the story end up talking about Yewon and how she was a princess who marry the 14th prince in the Westland and how everything came to be. 

Mom: "Yewon...she went through a lot at such a young age."

Jimin: "Mother, is there a way to heal her scar."

Mom: "The scar is too deep for it to heal. Also, on her arm...there is a scar about this big. It seems as if she was bitten by a huge animal."

Tae and Jimin both look at each other, "Wait...she already had a scar on her body?"

Mom: "The scar seems to be there for almost a full month."

Tae thought about it for a few seconds, "Princess Yewon... this was her plan."

Jimin look at Tae and curl his brows in confusion, "What do you mean?"

Tae: "She knew that this was the only way to make sure the 14th prince marries the 15th princess."
