In honor of Cookie and Vikki's birthday, which was today and yesterday (Vikki was born on May 8th at 11:58 while Cookie was born minutes later on May 9th at 12:01 am), we decided to give ya'll a present. These are not birthday themed chapters though as it is not May yet in our timeline.  Fan4Forever and I just thought you guys might want a chapter for each twin as a present to celebrate their birthdays! So here you go!!!

Cookie's POV

When I woke up, I felt like I was walking on air. The world was brighter, the air was fresher, and the heaviness in my heart was gone for the first time in years. I was excited to get up and see Two again. I had not felt this way in a long time.

I took extra care putting on my make up that morning, settling for a light red eyeshadow and a slightly darker cherry lip gloss. I smiled at myself in the mirror, much like Vikki does whenever she sees her reflection, and grabbed a pair of faded blue jeans and a light white tank top and quickly put them on before throwing Two-Bit's leather jacket across my shoulders that I had hung off the back of the vanity chair the night before. I planned on giving it back to him at the house, so I also grabbed a flannel out of the closet before making my way down the hall to Gracie's room.

Not finding her there, I walked to Vikki's room, only to see them both vacated. My sister and daughter were nowhere to be found. Scrunching my eyebrows together, I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. In the sink, sat two dirty mugs that clearly once held Vik's 'famous' hot coco. I felt sort of upset that there was none left for me, but figured it was because I chose to sleep so late. On the marble counter sat a note from Karen, telling me that she took Gracie to her bridge club with her because the other wives remembered her from the party and thought she was just the cutest.

That explained where Gracie was, so I figured that was fine. Other than the traces from the hot chocolate, however, there was no sign of Vikki. I puffed the air out of my cheeks and headed for the front door, realising that it was more than likely that she had left without me. She is not a very patient person and I never wake up on time.

Knowing that Vikki and the boys were probably waiting for me, I grabbed a yogurt cup from the fridge to eat on the way, and slid on a pair of my favorite converse high tops and rushed out the door, locking it behind me. I used the yogurt lid to act as a spoon as I dug into the creamy glob. It was an unnaturally nice day, the singing birds flew around me and I loved the feeling of the sun grazing my face. Days like this, I did not mind the long walk to the Curtis house. If I was any happier, I would be skipping. Is this what Vikki feels like everyday?

Learning from mistakes from the past, I did not knock on the door before walking through. I saw all the boys; Johnny was passed out on the couch, Two was laying on his stomach in front of the television with an empty plate in front of him, Darry and and Pony and Steve were playing poker on the table, and Soda was sitting on the couch, zoned out on the television. The only person I did not see was Vikki.

"Mornin', folks." I said as I closed the door behind me. I did not bother to kick off my shoes because we usually run off somewhere anyway.

"Cookie!" Two's face lit up and he scrambled up to his feet and tackled me in a hug, lifting me in the air and giving us a spin, "I missed ya."

"Ye saw me last night! Ye bawbag!" I said as he put me down and swatting his shoulder. He pouted at me and kissed my cheek. I smiled. As I looked around the room, taking in surprised faces. Vikki wasn't here. I looked around again to make sure I did not accidently pass by Vikki, but I still didn't see her. "Ye guys seen Vikki?"

As soon as I mentioned her name, Soda's neck snapped toward me. His eyes were surrounded in dark circles and he looked as though he was going to pass out any second from lack of sleep. I scrunch my eyebrows together as I observed him. What happened to my sister? What happened to Soda? Where did she go? Why did he look so distraught?
