Hello my lovelies, as always thank you for your support, votes, reads, and comments. At the moment requests are still closed, while I love reading your ideas and turning them into one shots, at the moment I want to focus on my own ideas as well as having a few other things that I am working on.

Crockett stepped in the ED, the cold wind ushering him into the warmer building. The doors slid closed behind him; he greeted the nurse who ran the triage at the front desk. She smiled at him while on the phone with a patient. Greeting Maggie as he entered the second set of doors. She absentmindedly waved at him, checking the phone in her hand. Crockett had just opened the door to enter the doctor's lounge when Maggie called his name. "Dr Marcel, you're up." Crockett looked at the entrance, he turned into the doctor's lounge. He tossed his bag onto the couch after pulling his stethoscope from it. He placed it around his neck and walked quickly to the entrance of the ED.

A gurney came into view with two paramedics, you and your partner; on the gurney was an unconscious woman. Your partner was a tall, lanky Caucasian man who enjoyed telling stories whenever there was a slow moment. You helped pull the gurney into the ED and followed the new doctor into a treatment room. Listing the details that the doctor needed to know as they guided you into treatment room two. Maggie's waved at you as she headed off to see Sylvie and Gabby who were bringing in the woman's partner. You entered the treatment room, where the new doctor spoke, "Crockett Marcel, I don't believe we've met before." You adjusted the gurney, so it was parallel with the bed. "Y/N L/N. This is my partner, Dominick Stevenson." Crockett nodded once as everyone got into position. You grasped the backboard your patient was on, "on my count. One. Two. Three." Crockett counted off in his Louisiana drawl as you all lifted the unconscious woman onto the bed. You rolled the gurney out of the way as Crockett directed the nurses and other techs around the room. "See you round, Doctor Marcel." You spoke as you wheeled away the now empty gurney. "See you round, Paramedic L/N." Crockett flickered a gaze and a crocked smile to you as you left with your partner, you paused out of sight to finish filling out the necessary forms.

Dominick looked over at you as he got the gear ready to restocke the ambulance, "new doctor?" Maggie paused by the pair of you, "got a crush Dominick?" Your partner scoffed, "I'm not the one with a thing for accents." He sent a pointed look at you before smirking and heading off to your parked ambulance to go back to your assigned firehouse. Maggie turned and raised a perfectly sculped brow at you. You pursed your lips, looked at Maggie, trying and failing to hide the flush you felt running along your cheeks. Not bothering to try and deny the accusation you simply rose one shoulder, before dropping it. You handed Maggie the finished paperwork and left leaving the stunned charge nurse in your wake.

Your partner looked over at you as you dropped into the passenger seat, Dominick raised his eyebrow at you. "Don't start." You pointed your finger at him, the radio crackled to life, informing both of you that there was a man down from unknown causes not too far away from you. You flickered the siren and lights as Dominick began to drive to the location. Once the ambulance pulled over, you jumped out and grabbed the jump bag from the back. You and Dominick worked quickly to help the unconscious man. The man was on the backboard when you heard shouting, you twisted around and looked over your shoulder. You swore, when you spotted the ribbons of smoke beginning to wind their way up to the clouds. Keying your radio, you began to call it in. "Ambulance 72, to main." You released the button and waited for the reply. "Go for main." You keyed the button once more. "We have a six-storey commercial fire at our location, multiple possible injures. Possibly trapped people on the second level. Requesting fire, rescue, and additional ambulances now." You hung up and main, replied that they were sending additional emergency services. Dominick motioned that he had your current patient under control, and you jumped up to help the other injured civilians.

As you were in the midst of setting up a triage area due to the flow of people pouring out of the building; Firehouse 51 showed up with another firehouse as back up. You informed Gabby, Sylvie and the other two paramedics what was going on. Running quickly through the process you had set up, you informed them that you and your partner had to take the patient you were originally called out for to Med, racing back to your ambulance where Ritter had helped place your patient in the back. You climbed in as Dominick hopped into the driver's seat. Ritter shut the doors and slapped his hand on them. As you wound your way to Med, you called the fire into Maggie as well as your injured patient so she could prepare for the incoming wounded.

Arriving at Med, Dominick informed Crockett quickly about the man's condition as he had met the pair of you at the door. Meeting Maggie as you moved into a treatment room, you told her the extent of the injures of those at the scene of the fire you had just left. She nodded and moved to the front to inform the nurses and available doctors what was about to come through the doors. Crockett smiled at you as you helped lift and move the patient onto the bed. "Back so soon." He teased; your lips twitched in a smile. "And I'll be back even sooner, a fire broke out while we were there, I'll be back with more soon." Crockett grinned as he gave a few orders, "well be still my heart." You rolled your eyes as a few nurses eyed you with light smirks. Dominick began tugging the gurney out and you followed, you quickly handed over the finished paperwork before the pair of you dashed out to help the victims of the fire.

You brought the last victim into Med, this one met with Doctor Halstead. As you passed a treatment room, you were met with Crockett as he left one with his own patient. "Well if it isn't Paramedic L/N, you miss me that much, darling?" You rolled your eyes, "if that helps you sleep at night, sure." Crockett chuckled and followed his patient to the OR; Halstead looked up at you with raised eyebrows. "She has a thing for accents." Dominick told him as if it explained everything.
