Ben woke up sensing something was wrong. Where was Rey? It was too early for her to be gone. He reached out with the force trying to find her. She was in hyperspace. She was flying away?
"What are you doing?" Rey jumped in her seat, startled by Ben's thoughts in her mind.
"I'm going home. I know you wont agree with what I'm doing, but I'm doing it for you. I love you. Good bye." With that she ended their force connection. Ben reeled back in confusion. What could she mean? Where was she going? No, it couldn't be. He didn't want to believe it. She had gone to the dark side.
Ben knocked on the door to his mother's quarters. He should have told her a long time ago.
"Come in." Ben took a seat across from her. He took a deep breath knowing that there was no going back.
"I'm sorry. I know I should have told you sooner."
"Ben, it's ok. You shouldn't feel like you should need to hide anything from me. How do you want me to help?" Ben smiled, wiping the tears from his eyes. Some way, some how, he was going to get Rey back.
