"Ben. What comes next?" Rey asked as they bored his X-wing.
"How do you mean?"
"I hurt so many people. Thousands died because of my actions. How do I move forward from that?"
"Not very many people even knew it was you. And those who do will forgive you."
"How can they forgive me if I can't even forgive myself? I was a monster." Rey sighed. "I still am."
"No you're not. That wasn't you. You're not a monster." She looked at him with tears in her eyes. "If you don't want to go back to the base, I know a place we can stay while the dust settles."
As they laded on the surface of Naboo, Rey couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of the planet. As they entered the villa she didn't deserve this.
"This isn't right. I've done terrible things. I deserve to be in a cell for the rest of my life." Ben shook his head.
"You went through something terrible, and because of that, you did what you thought was best. I don't blame you for what happened, and neither should you." Ben pulled her into a kiss, letting his emotions flow into her. Rey deepened the kiss as she showed him everything that had happened on Exegol. Salt mingled with the taste of the kiss as they shared their minds. "I missed you."
"Me too."
