Never Changed

I called Marvin right when I'm inside the taxi I booked all the way to the location where the celebrating party that Van sent me.

Marvin: You should go and enjoy! That's a big win for you and your org, Davi, lalo for you.

Davienne: I know, which is why I want you to be there. Well, mababait naman 'yung mga orgmates ko and I want you to meet Van.

Marvin: I'll just hold you back from enjoying the party, I don't want to spoil it. Magkikita naman tayo bukas, we'll celebrate in another way...

Davienne: Akala ko ba may training ka hanggang afternoon?

Marvin: After training we can meet.

Davienne: Okay... fine...

Marvin: Dav, will you drink tonight?

Marvin: But Dav... don't do it kung na-ppressure ka lang...

Hanggang sa pati ako ay kinakawayan na rin ng iba na hindi ko naman kilala.

"They know you wrote the manuscript, so don't be shock," pangunguna niya na mukhang kanina niya pa ako ipagmayabang sa lahat ng mga tao ngayon dito.

"His trainings motivate him more to study," sagot ko sabay amoy sa laman ng cup na ibinigay niya. Hindi ko naamoy ng maayos dahil sa amoy ng kapaligiran ko. Hindi ko matukoy alin ba talaga ang totoong amoy nito.
