Special Chapter
Aries
When I was a kid, I picked a dandelion out of my grandmother's garden. Back then, I was told that I should close my eyes, make a wish, and then blow it. There's only one wish I wanted to come true, and that is to be a star. The only thing that made this memory sadder was the idea of seeing the flower fly away because of my wish. I don't want that.
From then on, I always think that whenever I want to gain something, I have to give something to lose.
Si Lola ang madalas kong kasama sa pagsali sa mga audition, mapa-dancing and singing competition man 'yan sa mga iba't ibang barangay o 'di kaya ay sa mga mall show. Until a talent manager, Mommy Cha, who discovered me performing at a gig show when I was eleven.
Wala pa akong alam noon, basta ang gusto ko ay kumanta at sumayaw sa harap ng maraming tao. Kaya naman kahit nasa abroad sina Mama at Papa, si Lola ang naging karamay ko sa mga kagustuhan kong ito. It's not that I wanted the luxurious life. Kayang-kaya itong ibigay ng mga magulang at Lola ko. But there's something money can't buy.
Kaya naman sinalihan ko lahat ng competition sa Star Ent., mula sa Sing Philippines, The Voice Kids, Star Talent, Chasing Stars Teens, at ang runner-up placer kong show, Little Bright Star.
But my spotlight wasn't really bright for even half a year.
That's why I got back to school. From the moment I stepped into school, that's when Mommy Cha called me. He informed me from a source that Star Ent. is looking for trainees inside the bracket of my age.
She informed me that Start Ent. will be producing a new PPop Reality Television Show where they will feature trainees who are under Star Ent. for over a year. The only catch here is if when will this show begin. It's a big risk because once I enter into the contract, it will be harder for me to backout. But that's not what I'm afraid of, it's the fact that I'll be spending my youthful years training for a cost I don't know will be worth it.
When I reached sixteen, I entered the secret trainee project they called as Project X. It was really an open secret in the entertainment industry, but it was not out for the public.
"Since all of already know your designated rooms, let me tell your quick schedules throughout the whole month. This will change every month for over a year." Big Boss, as we all call him, began explaining everything.
Big Boss is a huge buff looking man with an effeminate character who always wears makeup and different styles depending on his mood of his sexual orientation. He's kind but strict, which is what we need for a leader and trainer.
"My agents will assist you all throughout this whole training. You have six hours every day to do the whole lessons such as: dance class, vocal lesson, language, socials, and the fun part, watching live television shows of Starry Night Show every Saturday so you can see how professional your seniors are. Every Sunday is your rest day, pwede kayong umuwi, lumabas, and do everything that is not contrary to your contract. Although we're not strict with leaving even during your class sessions, just inform us firsthand." He explains.
Project X became my second home. Para lang akong nag-aaral ulit ng high school, the only difference that I like is there is no mathematics.
And with that, I started to know twenty-nine other trainees, especially my three other roommates whom I share almost everything with— Oli, Reed, and Clark.
