His hair ruffled against the wind, the feeling of bathing under the moon felt so familiar. The stars soaking him in light rays of light, an ill smile left unbothered on his lips. His back slumped against the brick wall, an emptied can thrown lightly in the air only to clatter against the concrete defencelessly. His eye lid fell shut, the mild wind gushes against this honey skin, the roughness of his hands grazing over the concrete. His mother's unsettling conversation looping in his head, all the days he had gone without returning home or attending school.

Dropping his head down, a sick chuckle fell off his lips, his phone clattering to the ground. Leaning his head back once again, the phone lifted to gently press against his ears. The familiar sound of the phone ringing piercing into ears didn't startle him at all, but when her voice flooded in, he fluttered his eyes shut and lifted a corner of his mouth.

"What"

He laughed silently, his pupils stuck onto the moon "Hello to you too Angel

"If your not going to say anything mildly important, I'm hanging up."

"I'm ordering chicken"

"Your ordering what now?"

"Your working today right, at the chicken store. Am i not allowed to be a customer?"

"You disappear for 2 days and come back ordering chicken. What type of logic is this"

"I'd like to order one box of original chicken"

"Donghyuck-" and he hung up. There was something about how she says his name; it always feels refreshing, and that barrier around that name seemed to begin to perish when it comes to her. The questions she had asked him the other day had been circling his head without end, Haechan digging for the answer but to no avail did he come to a final conclusion.

Standing up, he dusted himself off and fixed his attire, the flip phone in hand as he kicked the empty spray can into the bushes. He didn't think it'll end very nicely if she found out that he had used all her black paint. Haechan had left multiple artworks of his own on Haneul's wall, simply to ease the stress but now, it dominated a majority of burst of colours with black, and only black.

A loud skidding of an engine emitted from the entrance of the alleyway, his eyebrows perking up at the body heavily storming towards him. Putting on his iconic mocking smile, the girl came into view with a plastic bag in her hands, her face painted with frustration.

"Hand over the money" She stuck out her hand, Haechan placing the money into her hand without much of a fight, which she was surprised at.

"Your actually handing it over? Just like that?" She was definitely suspicious with the smirk on Haechan's face

"Do you not want it?" He faked a hurt, going over to grab the money from her hands which she immediately pulled her hand away at

"You can go now" Haechan waved her away, sitting down on the floor with the chicken in his lap. She was beyond suspicious of what type of plan was concocting in Haechan's head. That boy is always up to no good and she knew that. Slowly shuffling away from him, she slipped back on the bike and headed off, wary of the fact that Haechan definitely put like a tracker on his money or something.
