"arghh.. did someone turn off the conditioning?" yuna awoke to lia checking the remote. ryujin, who laid by her side, tossed and turnt, and just in a few minutes, everyone was awake.

"i think there's a blackout." yuna began, being the first to stand up and open the curtains. sure enough, a rainstorm was unfolding just beyond their windows. a lightning struck, and chaeryeong and lia jumped in sync.

"i'll have to check it out." yeji then left the bed, opened the door and peered out. the rest did the same, and watched as yeji left the room and the other students peek out in confusion.

"all hanlim multiarts students, please proceed to the lobby immediately." the headmaster's voice suddenly bellowed, and the remaining four left the room and followed the sea of students on the way to the lobby.

a huge crowd was already present even before arrived. no one was in line, it was just a herd of half-awoken teenagers. the headmaster was at the front, a megaphone held near his mouth.

"as you may have notice, the power has gone out due to the rainstorm. we hereby apologize for the inconvenience. furthermore, the forest team-building activities will be canceled." the headmaster announces. a wave of sighs and silent cheers echoed the lobby.

yuna was quite relieved, since she didn't want to get herself dirty anyway. "you will all be kept inside the resort for the rest of the day until notice. the staff has provided water for you to shower and emergency lighting for you. please use them sparingly." he continued.

"also, please refrain from leaving beyond the resort area. you can find ways to kill time, as long as it's appropriate." he emphasized the last word, giving stares to the seniors. "..dismissed." he sighed, and the students went on their own ways.

the girls decided to reside with the others in the lobby. lia's head rested on yeji's lap as she hummed songs. yuna and ryujin had gotten a deck of cards to play while chaeryeong watched. the connection was long gone, but some still had data left.

"yuna!" she heard her voice being called. she turned around to see haechan and jisung, who stood next to the older looking frantic and embarrassed. "oh, hi." she greeted haechan, who never really talked to her. "are you free? someone needs to accompany scaredy-cat jisung while we bust some ghosts-" jisung cut in haechan's words. "don't listen to him."

"we're going to go to the old area of the hotel. they say there's ghosts." haechan smirked.

"uh.." yuna awkwardly chuckled. "i'm in." ryujin got up. "i didn't ask you-"

"and i didn't ask to join either. yuna, you coming?" ryujin extended her hand. yuna looked at her hand, and grabbed it, letting her pull. "i guess so."

"but.. i didn't sign up for this." yuna sighed, walking through the abandoned corridors, led by jaemin, who held the biggest light. surprisingly, the boys had also gathered a few other people. "we're almost there." he replies.

jisung and yuna walked side to side, occasionally bumping to each other. she could sense his trembling and silently giggled at it. of course, he noticed. "what are you laughing at?" he asks. "jisung.. be honest, are you really scared?" "n-no.." he stammers.

at the spur of the moment, a cabinet lost its balance, and fell near the two. jisung yelped, standing in-between the cabinet and yuna, arms spread wide. there was silence before yuna started laughing, and the rest joined in.

jaemin placed the light on the floor, examining the old cabinet. he picked up shards of a glass mug, seeing that it was dripping from water. "guys, the water is new!'

"maybe a staff came?" ryujin came over, observing the mug. "the receptionist said they completely abandoned this place." jeno added. "and maybe thats the reason we shouldn't be here.' jisung said. "well, there are other groups wandering around." renjun shrugged.

"whatever it is, lets just assume there are ghosts here." jaemin grinned. haechan rolled the hotel brochure into a horn, and bellowed. "HEY DEMONS, IT'S YA BOI!" no reply came, only the echo of his yell was heard. "aw man."

they walked a little more further. the waste appeared more often the more they walked, and the smell became more disturbing and stale. dirt was now apparent, and they spotted a few new footprints, probably from the other students who are wandering around.

old paintings of businessman and woman hung in parallel walls. ryujin shined the light on the walls, pointing out the graffiti on the paintings and walls.

soon, they reached supposedly somekind of intersection lobby, since there was a long desk and a couple of waiting chairs lying around. a broken chandelier swung quietly above the group. there were multiple corridors with creaky doors.

"okay, let's split up. there's a couple of doors and turns here. if you see anything, just yell." jaemin says. everyone nods, and disperses into their own ways. yuna took the left path and went ahead. the corridor was narrower, and it seemed like there were hotel rooms. she more frequently stepped on waste, her nostrils flared, picking up the scent of garbage all over.

she slowly opened the creaking door of the first room. nothing was abnormal, but she felt a little spooked given the fact that the only light was the one that came from her tiny flashlight and smartphone. the almost-torn curtains shielded the light from the lightning to enter.

she took a few steps into the room. the brightest lightning struck once before her flashlight and smartphone went out. then, she could feel a strong grip pulling her, and she immediately fell, letting a shriek leave her lips.

the rushing sounds of shoes banging on the unpolished and creaky floor was all she heard as she got on her knees, her palms on the floor to support her. "what was that?.." she asked no one.

the door was swung open. "are you okay?" she heard jisung's voiceg. she stood up, brushing the dust off her knees. "it's fine, i just fell.." she started, but once she turned around, she had just noticed there not one, but two guys at the door looking very concerned.

hueningkai and jisung had also just realized they were both at the same door. they gave small glances at each other, but immediately put their attention back on the girl.

it was like a seatbelt. it all clicked. the days flashed like a film tape and everything was just being thought of in the same time. she gawked at the boys, and she mentally slapped her forehead for not having realizing this way sooner.

i think i got myself stuck in a triangle..
