[yuna's p.o.v.]
"so.. how was it with ryujin?" bona asks.
today, i set my alarm too early and attempted to fall back to sleep but failed. the bus would arrive soon anyway so i ate breakfast while having a chitchat with bona.
"she apologized and said that wonyoung lied to her. but i still don't understand why did wonyoung do that." i rubbed my temples with my fingers.
"you'll get it figured out." bona pats my head.
"and you. why are you awake? didn't you have work to do?"
"couldn't sleep with you burning the kitchen just for an omelette. you can't even break an egg properly!"
"yeah.. sorry."
bona checked her phone, maybe for some updates from her friends but looked at the clock.
"you should get going. try to fix lia and ryujin's friendship."
"okay. see you later." i dropped my unfinished omelette, swung my backpack over my shoulder and hurrily went out the door.
[timeskip]
"you want me to convince her?" soobin asks.
"yeah. she listens to you the most, and we should clear up any misunderstandings before it's too late."
"well, i don't know how to tell you this.."
"but?"
chaeryeong has just entered the class. she sets her backpack on her table, drags a chair and sits next to me.
"i l-like her." he murmurs.
'like who?' chaeryeong asks out loud.
'ZZZZIP IT.' i cover her mouth, and she flinchws back.
'oh, my bad. you were saying?'
"i like lia. yuna wants me to convince lia to befriend ryujin again. but being around her already drives me crazy."
"judging from that you just said, i'm guessing you have absolutely no experience?"
'none. 0%. zero.' he says the last word in fluent mandarin.
me and chaeryeong exchanged glances as we brainstorm for ideas. obviously lia wouldn't listen or give a bother about us at all, so soobin is our only hope. but i realize that he doesn't have any relations with these kinds of stuff.
'i need help. serious help.' soobin mumbles as he massages his temples.
[timeskip]
once the bell rang, me and chaeryeong quickly snatched the lunch trays, having to skip a few lines and settled on our usual spot.
'he can court her.' i joke.
'the main objective right now is to convince her. leave the romance to him for god sakes, the poor boy will learn.' chaeryeong says.
