"what a day.." yuna collapsed onto the sofa. ryujin chuckled along, taking her sandals off and placing them near the doorstep. "so much for getting my hair wet. i can't dye my hair tonight." she murmured. "you can try sweating a lot to get the natural oils from your hair." ryujin suggested.

ryujin had dyed her hair a peachy shade of pink right before the trip. ryujin went to take a shower, and yuna was sprawled on her bed, scrolling through her instagram. it wasn't soon after when a knock occurred on their door, and she went to open it.

yeji, lia and chaeryeong were present, barbecue meat, wagyu, pork, chicken and vegetables in their hand. yeji held a peculiarly large plastic bag filled with soda and chips. "why so confused?" lia laughed, seeing yuna agape. "is this supposed to be a suprise? i don't remember plans for a bbq.." she scratched the nape of her neck.

"maybe you were too busy thinking about hueningkai-" yeji crooned, until lia punched her arm. "nevermind." she finished off. "i think i've gotten used to it. come in, ryujin's still in the shower."

the girls placed the ingredients in the counter and began getting into work. ryujin, whose hair was wrapped around a towel, immediately wrapped the apron around her and chopped the cabbage into pieces. yeji helped yuna mince the garlic and lia carefully cut the green onion. chaeryeong, who had already gone tired from cutting the onion, went out of the kitchen to get her phone. with sprouty eyes, she aimed at the girls, who were busy doing their work.

"cheese!" she exclaimed, and the girls flashed cheerful smiles. she clicked a few pictures, and showed them to ryujin, who was sprinkling salt to the cabbage. "I BLINKED!" she nagged, and chaeryeong hurriedly swiped to the other pictures. "yaya, relax~ you look bomb in these."

chaeryeong returned her phone and continued her work, taking the peeled garlic, pear, onion and ginger, dumping them into the blender. she poured two teaspoons of sugar and fish sauce. lastly, she gave the final ingredient, rice and the chilli powder, and blended it all.

by now the cabbage had already dried up, and ryujin rinsed the water away with a mesh. yeji, yuna and lia placed the rest of the vegetables into a large bowl. chaeryeong had finished making the kimchi paste and poured it all over the veggies. they took turns mixing it, and they were done cooking.

they settled onto the floor, placed the barbecue grill onto the coffee table and started grilling. first the pork ribs, the tenderloins, rib eye steaks and then the chicken. once yeji had placed the meal evenly onto everyone's plates, lia took out the soda from the fridge and gave it to everyone.

"let's toast!" yuna got on her knee. the rest did the same, and yuna held her cola up high. "to getting full marks on the exams and success!" she preached. the girls clanked their sodas against each other, and burst into fits of laughter. they began devouring their dinner. "i can't wait when we turn to adults and drink real alcohol." ryujin says, with her mouth full.

"eh.. that just reminds me. have you heard?" chaeryeong marked the others, seeing if they heard too. "oh, that. nothing's confirmed, silly." ryujin assured. "heard of what?" yuna asked. "there has been claims the guys of 2-B snuggled in soju. it hasn't reached the teachers though." yeji recalled. "it's reasonable, isn't it? they get into fights every now and then. " lia says.

"i can't really say anything about them. it was jeno who handled them, not me. but i'll admit they're fiesty." yeji giggled. "yeji, have you told the teachers?" yuna asked.

"nah.. it's almost a norm nowadays." yeji took a sip of the coke. "so why is it a big deal?" yuna glanced at lia, who knew most of the school gossip. "that's not the main problem. a couple of bystanders claim they saw a girl bringing in her friends to join." lia added. "yikes." was all chaeryeong commented on.

"well.. i'm tired. i thought of resigning from my position so i could stay with you guys longer a few days ago. it's been hectic with the prom coming in just a few days." yeji complained. "don't worry about us. we know how important this council and prom thing is for you." lia held her hand. "yeah, since the seniors and you are graduating this year." chaeryeong smiled. "oh my god, we're growing old." ryujin placed her chin on her hand.

the girls chuckled at her remark. "damn right we are." lia sighs. "the youngest here can't say anything about this." yuna pointed at herself.

after dinner, they stacked onto each on the sofas and had a movie marathon, ranging from horror movies to korean dramas. without notice, they soon dozed off, huddled together in their pillow fort.

"how much we've got for prom?" deok-su flatly asked the younger boy. "plenty of bottles. you won't have to worry, trust me." illsung slaps his back with his palm. deok-su slapped his hand away, flinching back. "don't touch me." he barked. "geez, okay." illsung grins.

"we might get into trouble for this.." a brittle voice speaks, belonging to zhong chenle. "its only to poke fun at.. loosen up, chinese boy." illsung assures the transfer student. "and you better not let your mouth run about this, okay?" chenle had no other choice but to nod.

deok-su collapsed onto the sofa, counting the money the boy had paid him just then. the cigarette in his mouth irritated the boy, forcing chenle to close his nostrils. deok-su noticed it, and handed him a pack. "you want some?" he smirked.

"no." he sternly said. "whatever-"

a knock interrupted deok-su. deok-su gestured to illsung, who stood up and peeped through the lockhole. it was just the girl. "it's her."

"let her in." he ordered. illsung unlocked the multiple locks he implemented when they arrived, and chenle's eyes enlarged upon seeing who it was. "deok-su, thanks for the shots, by the way. anyways, i came to check up on the rumors. is it true?" she asked.

"who told you?" he hissed. "no one you have to know about. and i'm guessing you're doing so." she simply replied back.

"well, the council is paying more attention, so props to you if you can do it. that's all i came to say." she waved, and left the room. illsung closed the door and stared amazed at deok-su. "since when did you talked to a girl?" he asked.

"i have connections. and her name is wonyoung, mind you." he said.
