he knocked once and awaited for a response. it was his first time "escorting" a girl, not like taehyun and beomgyu has done that before too, but likewise he was still tense and shaken.

chaeyeon, who he knew to be chaeryeong's sister, opened the door, peaking out. "are you wonyoung's date?" she asked, shock clearly showing on her face.

"yeah." chaeyeon turnt back to her room, then looked at him again. did she tell her friends i asked her or not?.. he pondered. "i'll call her. hold on for a sec." she then closed the door.

a few minutes later, the door opened revealing wonyoung. she was dressed like a porcelain doll, her glass and pale skin perfectly matching the cherry color of her lips, and she flaunted a soft pink plaid dress with a white cardigan to cover up her arms.

"hey.." he greeted nervously. her eyes travelled to his feet and onto his face, but no expression was written onto her face. "what? did i dressed up too much?"

"well, they didn't mention a dress code, so i don't think so. you look great, by the way." she smiled. remembering how much she grinned at him which took him by suprise, and he puzzled if he was genuinely excited or just happened to be alone. i guess we're in the same boat. who would she genuinely want to go with?

"you too. uh.. should we get going?"

"right." she replied, closing the door behind her and they left her room, walking alongside.

"welcome hanlim high!" the man on the platform bellowed. he seemed not much older than the seniors, but looks could be deceiving. however, he was definitely not a student.

yuna, yeji, ryujin, and her date beomgyu were all in the beach, about to watch the concert the student council prepared. if they had known they would be sinking in the sand, they would prepared more suitable shoes beforehand.

beomgyu was the first crowd of people to whoop and clap defeaningly. embarrassed, ryujin quickly grasped his hand and held it down, giving dead glares at him when he looked at her.

"hey.. who got to contact a dj? that's cool!" yuna whispered to yeji. "i think he was a former student? i'm not sure," she gawked at him, "but we're lucky to have him here. his schedule is pretty booked since he's a model too. i'm pretty sure his name is hyungwon."

"whaa, cool.." ryujin and yuna diverted their attention back to the dj.

a pair of arms swung onto yuna's shoulders, causing her to jump a little. jisung had just arrived next to yuna, who intertwined his arms with her. "jisung! don't you have a date?"

"actually, no. i just i got too excited about the trip i forgot about that," he crooned. she nodded in response. the possibilities swarmed her mind, but she wasn't disturbed at it at all. in fact, she would be happy if he did asked her.

"forget about my imaginary date, just focus on the performance!"

she blinked maybe once or twice, realizing she was staring out onto space. yuna turnt to look at him. "yeah, right!"

"i know how hard your exams must've been, i was a student here too," he observed the crowd's faces, "but i know that good results are coming to your way, so let's have some fun!" he ended his introduction in a yell, and put on his headphones.

the crowd cheered and started clapping to the beat he was creating on his mixer, which was placed in a table on the platform. they fidgeted a little from the people that began surrounding them, but still had the capacity to bounce along with the crowd.

the corner of her lips slowly arise, forming a very wide grin. she planned to stay out of the crowd and just be in the sidelines, but she was enjoying it.

she turnt to look at each of them, smiling like an idiot, and the feeling she held onto for their sake wa suddenly gone. she didn't have to force a smile: with them, they'll make her smile. she should've been more straightforward with her freinds, it would also be the best for them.

but she know it wasn't the time to sulk: she had to have some fun. the beat the dj was creating had just dropped, and almost everyone was bopping along, swinging their heads in sync. who knew she would have this kind of fun before she even became an adult?

"WHERE IS LIA AND CHAERYEONG?! THEY'RE MISSING OUT SO MUCH!"

"WHAT?" ryujin yelled back.

"I CAN'T HEAR WHAT YOU'RE SAYING!" jisung laughed. she brushed it off, deciding it wasn't working to yell at each other. aw man, what a waste that they aren't here to dance around too, since they were eating beforehand.

they blended in the increasing and pumped crowd, continuously jumping around until their limbs sored and felt like it would fall of any second. they decided to stop to rest and catch a few bites, separating from the crowd. even when they left, the concert was still as lively as ever.

they stepped up the stairs from the pavement that seperated the beach and the pathway. everyone was too worn out to compliment about the concert, but they were well aware everyone had fun. maybe they could join back for a second round afrer a meal.

the beachouse was just a few miles above them. yuna marvelled at the house, which was build rather more fancier and modern, and it's roof was circular.

but something else captured her eyes. a familiar pair of people were walking towards it, nearing the building itself. the girl peered towards the concert to the concert, identifying that it was wonyoung.

it made her curious. maybe there was someone else after all, which wasn't hueningkai? her eyes stayed on their figures, observing the boy. she doesn't remember ever seeing her talk to a guy. in honesty, wonyoung has been more quiet nowadays..

he turnt to wonyoung, and yuna froze. it was hueningkai who was her partner.

it wasn't a suprise if wonyoung asked him likewise, but for him to ask her?.. what had just gone into him?

she was astonished to see that he would steep that low.

but he wasn't her business anymore. she shouldn't meddle nor ponder. jisung noticed what she was blanking out at, and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"i don't know what's going on, but don't bother. he's got his own reasons." he said matter-a-factly

she gave him a smile, and looked back at the beachouse, which they have already went into. "i know. i'm just.. curious. not mad."
