The next morning, Arshi woke up later than usual, showered and got ready by 8:45 AM as Rahul was going to reach her place by 9:00 AM. After she got ready, she rushed to the kitchen to make a mug of coffee for Rahul and take it to the car. She made the coffee and pour it in a coffee jar along with a spoon of jaggery. As soon as she was done, she got a call from Rahul asking her to come downstairs. She hurriedly carried her bag and the coffee jar and rushed downstairs.
Rahul greeted her with a warm hug. Arshi handed him the coffee and saw the most precious smile on his face that uplifted her mood too. She wondered how a smile of a loved one can change so much.
As soon as they settled in the car,they started to talk and Rahul asked Arshi hesitantly,"Arshi, I informed Anushree and Esha about us last night and they were so delighted to know about us. None of them could believe it. So they put up a request if we could meet them anytime this week." Arshi happily replied,"Yes, sure Rahul. I would love to meet them. I have heard so much about them from you and Anushree is such an amazing singer. We can meet them anytime when you all are free. I am always free for you, dear. Rahul was relieved hearing that and was happy seeing her so willing and excited. He whipped out his phone and got Anushree and Esha on a conference call to ask them when they were free. Finally, They agreed to meet the next evening at 5:00 PM. Arshi was excited to meet Rahul's friends and Rahul was elated seeing her excitement. Rahul enjoyed sipping the coffee and driving simultaneously. (It is unsafe but there was no traffic so he could easily multi task.
They reached the studio to find Akshat sir and Amit Sir. They had some work regarding music production and no one else had any work except the four of them. They were going to be producing a new music video that was already recorded in parts and they had to compile it and recompile it. It was a hectic task. Akshat sir had given the target till the next day to be done with editing. All four of them sat till 4:30 PM after which Akshat sir and Amit sir left as they had to catch a flight to Hyderabad for some work. Rahul and Arshi sat in the studio compiling the parts and editing it too. They needed smoother transitions which took a lot of time. It was already 9:00 PM and the work was still not done. They both had thought that they would complete the work that day so that they had the next day free and they could catch up on Anushree and Esha.
They continued with the work as the two were determined to complete it that night itself. Rahul suggested,"Let us take a few minutes of break. My brain isn't functioning. I really need coffee." Arshi replied,"Same with me too. I am also exhausted but we have a deadline to and if we don't finish it by today, We would not be able to make it tomorrow to meet Anushree and Esha. I need coffee too. Let me make some." and headed to the pantry and switched on the coffee maker. Rahul accompanied her to the kitchen where they talked about the music video and how it was getting really hectic. As soon as the coffee was done, she poured it into two mugs and placed it in the central table. Rahul was about to take a sip when Arshi stopped him and said,"Wait, let me get my bag. I have a small box with jaggery powder. We can add it to the coffee. If you don't want gur wali coffee (coffee with jaggery),then you may proceed with that." Rahul waited while Arshi fetched the jaggery and added a spoon of it to both the cups. Rahul joked,"Arshi,you really carry everything in that bag. I never expected jaggery in someone's bag." Arshi replied laughingly,"I did not carry it earlier but now I have developed a taste for it and I need jaggery with coffee. So I always carry it now." They both laughed and got back to work after 15 minutes.
They worked that night till 4:58 AM. The music was done and they had emailed it to Manish who was supposed to mix and master it and give it within a week after which they were going to release the video. At 5:30 AM, they were about to leave the studio when they got a message from Akshat sir asking about the music. The two of them replied that it was done and was already sent to Manish. Akshat sir was astonished that they worked the last night and got done with the music. He thus said that they need not come to the studio the next day.
None of them had food last night and thus were very hungry. They decided that Rahul would go to Arshi's place for breakfast. They reached Arshi's place at 7:00AM. Rahul freshened up at Arshi's place and headed to the kitchen where Arshi was preparing some breakfast. Arshi said,"I might take some more time, so why don't you just go off to sleep. The bed is already made and you can get some rest which you really need." Rahul denied but finally went off to sleep after Arshi insisted repeatedly.
At 9:00 AM, Rahul woke up. The table was set up and Arshi was there in the kitchen making some muffins that she had planned to carry for Anushree and Esha. Rahul washed up and went to Arshi and asked her why she was baking to which Arshi replied that she wanted to take it for Anu and Esha. Rahul wad overwhelmed. Arshi and Rahul went to the table for their breakfast. Arshi had made Rahul's favourite,Muesli Pancakes and Fruits salad along with coffee. They had the coffee and then the breakfast that Rahul thoroughly enjoyed.
After breakfast, Rahul left for his place at 10:45 AM.
As soon as he reached home, he got a message from Arshi that read,"Hey.I hope you remember the plan for the evening." Rahul replied,"Yes, I do remember. Be ready by 4:00 PM, I shall come to pick you up. Love you."
Arshi and Rahul were excited for the evening.
