A Full Circle

The next day, Rahul picked up Arshi at 6:00 PM, and they both headed to the studio directly. Akshat sir, was already waiting for them in the recording room. Rahul was going to be recording a song that was supposed to be sung by Tanvi Khanna and was a part of the upcoming film. The recording started at 7:30 PM and was over by 9:00 PM. Arshi and Rahul stayed at the studio along with Akshat sir, to check and edit the recorded piece as they had to send it to Manish for the mixing and mastering. The work that day was tiresome, and Akshat sir left earlier, leaving Rahul and Arshi in the studio. The two were left alone in the studio to complete the work. Rahul was unwell that morning but was feeling better in the evening while they were in the studio, and Arshi was also there who managed to make him feel better as always. Rahul and Arshu wrapped up with the work in the studio by 2:00 AM, after which they left. 

Rahul dropped Arshi at her place and then went home. That night both were very tired and directly went off to sleep. They had a concert the next day in Mumbai itself, and it was for a college fest. It was going to the first time when Arshi was going to be performing for a college audience. 

The next day, Rahul called her up at 9:30 AM when Arshi was making coffee for herself. Arshi picked up the call in the first ring and cheerfully greeted him, "Good Morning! How are you feeling now? Any reoccurrence of fever?" Rahul answered, "A perfect Morning. I am much better now, and I don't have a fever. So don't you worry, Arshi. What are you doing?" Arshi answered, "Nothing much. Having coffee and packing for the concert tonight. I am so excited about it. It is my first concert for a college audience, and I remember how excited I was to perform before the Akshat Amit live. I was so happy the day, I got a call from you at my college, and then my journey with you all started. It feels like I have come across a full circle from where I started. It feels so surreal. I don't think this journey would have been this beautiful and smooth without you and everyone else in the band who accepted me so graciously."She was on the verge of tears while speaking to Rahul. Rahul was genuinely happy for her. Rahul and Arshi spoke for an hour, and after that, Rahul said that he would pick up Arshi and Radhika at 5:00 PM for the show. 

Arshi had her lunch and was preparing her bag for the show when the doorbell rang. It was 3:30 PM, and she was not expecting anyone at that hour. She went ahead and opened the door. To her surprise, It was Rahul with a big bouquet. Arshi asked Rahul, surprised, "How come you are here so early?" He answered, "Am I not welcome? Okay, I will leave then," and he was about to go back. Arshi replied, "No. Nothing like that. I was not just expecting you and I am very happy you are here and you are more than welcome, Rahul." She went on to hug him. 

Rahul handed her the bouquet and she placed it on the flower vase that was in the drawing-room. Arshi went to the kitchen to make coffee for Rahul and he followed her to the kitchen. Rahul sat on the kitchen stool while Arshi prepared coffee for Rahul. Rahul sat and they both conversed. Rahul and Arshi had their coffee in Arshi's room after which Arshi packed her bag for the show that night. They left Arshi's place at 5:00 PM to pick up Radhika and then they moved to the college where they had the show. 

The show was lit and everyone enjoyed performing there. Post-concert, Rahul and Arshi were wrapping up with the set up on the stage and that is when a girl came to Rahul. She said, "Hi Rahul. I am Trishna and I am a big fan of you. I have listened to all your songs. Rahul thanked her profusely. She continued, "I wish I could tell you how amazing you are. I have a confession to make I have a big crush on you and I love you, your dancing and singing skills." Rahul was slightly taken aback especially because Arshi was standing beside him. Rahul was expecting an angry reaction from her like a typical girlfriend but what he saw was unexpected. Arshi was giggling. Rahul did not know how to react. He politely stated, "That is so sweet of you." She continued flirting and Arshi was enjoying that scene. Trishna clicked a few photos with Rahul and left. Rahul was looking at Arshi in a very surprising way and asked, "Are you not jealous? I thought I would get an angry, annoying reaction?" Arshi asked," Why were you expecting that reaction though? I am not a typical insecure girlfriend, Rahul. I have full trust on you and I know you love me and I love you and I have faith on true love. She was sweet though." They both laughed at it and carried on

After that, they all left the venue and headed to their respective homes. Arshi, Rahul and Radhika left together. Rahul dropped Radhika nad then dropped Arshi and headed home. After Rahul reached home, He called up Arshi to inform that they have some work in the studio the next morning and asked if she could join him. She agreed. After the call with Rahul, Arshi got a call from her mother who informed her that they would be reaching Mumbai after three days. She was excited about her parents' arrival. But was completely unaware of the storm that followed.
