Evening

Arshi was preparing some food for Anushree, Rahul and Esha who were to arrive by 5:45 PM, she honestly didn't care for Ishaan, his food and all. He was invited so that Arshi could expose her in front of those people who knew their truth. At the last moment, she had decided to call Radhika too. So the plan was Rahul was supposed to pick Radhika and Esha while Anushree was to directly come from her office. Rahul was unaware that they were going to Arshi's house till Esha was seated in the car and was seated in the car and was giving him instructions on the direction. Rahul did not utter a single word even after knowing that they were going to Arshi's place, deep within he was happy to have got a chance to visit Arshi and enjoy her coffee in her balcony sitting with her.  Arshi meanwhile had prepared some good food with the help of Lata di. She had made some lovely muffins, pasta and tarts. 

At 4:30 PM, post-lunch, Arshi put her muffins to ake in the oven and went in to get ready. She wore her usual tee and Capri, completed her make up, set her hair and sprayed some perfume. She was not getting ready for Ishaan but for Rahul whom, she was desperate to meet. It had been long since they had sat together and had coffee, talked about random stuff, discussed about music, their families etc. She was longing to relive such moments again. She went off to get the muffins out of the oven. They had turned perfectly well. It was 5:10 PM and they were to arrive in no time. Esha, Rahul and Radhika arrived at 5:30 PM. Arshi welcomed Radhika and Esha with a hug. She could not look straight into Rahul's eyes. Rahul was on the verge of tears on seeing Arshi after so long but he managed to keep himself calm. He simply smiled at Arshi who welcomed him inside. They all directly went off to Arshi's room. Rahul continued to maintain his silence. Anushree arrived after the others were settled down. Anushree explained, "Rahul, you wanted to know what the truth was and why Arshi was happily agreeing to marry Ishaan. So here, we are to give you the answer. Wait for some time, all your questions will be answered." Arshi had nothing to say, Anushree continued to explain her plan, "We all are to stay in this room while Arshi will go out and tell the truth to Ishaan. This will be a good way to expose him and here all misunderstandings will be cleared. They all sat in Arshi's room silently. As the clock was about to strike 6:00 PM. Anushree went closer to Arshi and spoke, "Stay strong. Tell him what you feel. Don't worry at all, you are safe, we are all there for you and after he is gone, we shall celebrate our victory. We are here for you." Arshi nodded and hugged her. Esha and Radhika motivated her. Rahul was completely clueless about what was going on. He simply sat there looking at Arshi. 

The door bell rang at 6:10 PM sharp. Arshi went out to open the door while the others were seated in her room, in a place where the living room was clearly visible and they hoped that they would be able to hear everything. Arshi opened the door to let Ishaan in. Ishaan handed her a  bouquet of flowers that she put down in the table. He said, "How come you have called me today? That is a big thing. Someone seems to be falling for me." Arshi stood silent. Anushree, Rahul, Radhika and Esha were able to hear everything. Rahul was annoyed and his anger was evident in his eyes. 

Ishaan was about to sit down, when Arshi spoke, "I never asked you to sit. Hear me out first, then you can sit in peace. Ishaan nodded, "Go ahead, Darling." Rahul's blood was boiling in anger on listening to the way Ishaan was talking to Arshi. Arshi started, "So, I have invited you here to tell you something very important. I do not want to continue with our deal. I am breaking this marriage and refusing this proposal." Ishaan giggled, "It seems as if you have forgotten what I had told you. Its okay if you refuse the proposal, but I hope you remember what I can do. Why do you want to put your love, Rahul's success at stake. Bhoomi has so many songs by him. So, I think it will be a great idea to use Vashishth's voice instead of Rahul. Is that what you want?" Rahul heard every word of it. He was unable to believe his ears, he was in shock. Arshi continued, "It seems you have been too busy in your work. It seems that you are unaware that Bhoomi has already been released yesterday. The voice in the songs is Rahul's and he will and is going to make it big." Ishaan answered, "Are you trying to fool me here? It is impossible that Manish would not have told me that it has been released already." Arshi was in rage and nearly screamed, "You know what, It was you had been making a fool of me. Manish had never agreed to help you and he did not inform you about the release because we asked him not to. He is a man of ethics and not an unethical stupid man like you. He himself clarified that he would and will never help you. Dare you ever try to enter and destroy my life or Rahul's life, I shall ensure that you pay heavily for it. Stay away from us." Ishaan was fuming too. He went closer to Arshi and grabbed her shoulders tightly, his fingers dug into her skin and screamed, "Dare you try play with me. You will marry me, no matter what. I love you and you can't do this with me."  Arshi was genuinely scared and even before she could react, Rahul came out of the room and held Ishaan's hand and screamed, "Dare you touch Arshi. I will ensure that I shall not leave you with any bones unbroken. You know what, just get out of here. Arshi shall not give anymore explanation for anything else. She broke off the marriage and now you are insignificant in her life. So, just get the hell out of here." Rahul's voice echoed in the room." Arshi stood close to Rahul, hugging him tight. She was happy to have had Rahul by her side. Ishaan shouted, "You will never be happy together. I don't care. I will be back to destroy your life." He left.

Arshi hugged Rahul and sweeper. Radhika, Anushree and Esha came out of the room and smiled. They were very happy with how everything had passed. Rahul said, "I'm sorry that I questioned our love. I was at fault. It was because of me that you were ready to get merried to a scoundrel to save my future. Arshi, I am sorry. I love you." Anushree said, "I am so happy for the both of you. You both love each other to no limits and we hope you will always be together." They both smiled at each other. Everything was back to normal. It was all well. Arshi served the food and they all enjoyed it a lot. Radhika had to leave early as she had some work left regarding their concert tour. Anushree and Esha too left by 9:00 PM leaving Rahul and Arshi alone. Arshi made two more cups of coffee and they sat in the balcony. The breeze played with their hair and for them the evening had just begun.
