After a month, of informing the entire band and Akshat sir, Amit sir and the others, Arshi and Rahul finally agreed to get married. They weren't in a hurry but their parents thought it appropriate to not delay the entire thing. It was the off-season month with not many shows, rather they had no shows for a couple of weeks. Arshi and Rahul finally gave in after their parents finally convinced them after a couple of years of their relationship. Arshi and Rahul's parents and families began preparations for the wedding.

Arshi and Rahul wanted to discuss the wedding so they decided to meet in Arshi's house just a week before the wedding when all the preparations were almost over. Rahul came down to Arshi's place in the evening at 5:00 PM. Arshi's parents and Rahul's parents had gone out to buy the engagement ring. They decided to shop together as it would be easier and would be according to the choices of both the families. Arshi prepared coffee and they both sat in the usual balcony chairs. Arshi said, "Rahul, Are we hurrying through the situation. Here it is not about us being sure about each other, but a lot of other factors too come into play."Rahul said reassuringly, "I understand what you are saying. But it doesn't make sense to delay it further. Let us get married but we shall keep it a very close affair with no posts and promotion on social media. That will save us from giving out the details to the world. I am sure that one day or the other it will be out but for now, I think this is a good idea for us to go ahead. I am not going to pressurize you, it is your choice after all. I just don't want us to call off the wedding, especially when preparations have begun and are going on so well. It is your choice. You still have time to postpone the wedding, after Engagement that is tomorrow. " Arshi understood his point, "I know that you are right. I think we can go ahead with the plan. I  just don't want to tell the world that we are married, because people start making stupid assumptions and then that is a pain to handle." Rahul agreed.

Their parents returned within an hour. Rahul and Arshi explained them about what they had planned. The parents were okay with it and accepted it as it came. They were happy as long as the children were getting married.

Rahul and Arshi made the guest list themselves, not inviting many people. Apart fromhe close relatives, friends and family, only Akshat sir and the entire band was invited but they were categorically informed to not put anything on social media. They agreed.

Arshi had decided on two wedding lehengas (Outfits). Both were equally stunning. The first was a light powder blue one with an off white blouse and the other was a light peach one. Arshi loved the Blue one better than the other but wanted to take Rahul's opinion. She video called Rahul and Rahul too was in the process of deciding his sherwani. He also had a similar blue sherwani. So the two of them decided, to go ahead with the Blue one so that they could twin too.

The rituals like Mehendi, Sangeet and Engagement went on beautifully and they had a lot of fun. On the day of sangeet, Anushree, Esha and Radhika danced together and they looked lovely. Everything went as expected. The entire couple of weeks were very tiring and Rahul and Arshi would usually sit together in either of their homes, putting  face masks, singing and chilling.

On the Day Of Wedding

The day began very early at 6:00 AM for the both of them. The wedding was in the evening. They had to reach the location by 4:00 PM. Arshi's place was a 10 minute drive from the location, so she decided to get ready at home in peace and leave not before 6:00 PM. Rahul too had similar plans. They both were ready by 6:30 PM and reached the location by 6:45 PM. There was no baraat and the groom's side just arrived normally in a car. There was a fun environment all together.

By 7:00 PM, all the guests had arrived and they were enjoying themselves. There were close to 80 people unlike a usual big fat indian wedding. The priest called for the groom. Rahul arrived with Divyansh and Chetna on one side and Gaurav and Harshita on the other. Gaurav and Divyansh were Rahul's cousins and they were accompanied by their wives. They came down the stairs from their room.  Rahul looked amazingly handsome in the light powder blue sherwani. He removed his shoes and climbed up the stairs to reach the mandap. The priest performed the rituals and then  Arshi was called for. Arshi was looking like a princess in the Lehenga with some great make up. She sat on the mandap beside Rahul. Rahul complimented her in a whisper, "You already have my heart, you need not steal it again. You look stunning, Arshi." Arshi blushed and the priest continued with the rituals. The ceremony was short and was over by 9:00 PM. Arshi and Rahul fulfilled all the practices that they were supposed to do. At the end, they got down the mandap and seeked the blessings of the parents. Everyone congratulated the new couple. They had amazing food and danced for a while. The bidai (The bride leaving her house and going to the groom's home with all the rituals) was post 3:00 AM. The guests had dinner and left. The only people who were present post midinght were the parents, Gaurav, Divyansh, Harshita and Chetna, along with Radhika, Esha and Anushree.

At the time of bidai, Rahul's cousins went to Rahul's place to prepare for the welcoming of the new bride. Arshi's parents bid adieu to Arshi but it wasn't the usual painful, teary-eyed one. It was normal. It wasn't as if Arshi was going off. She anyway lived away from her parents in Mumbai and she would be coming to her place sometime post marriage. Her parents were supposed to leave after two days post the wedding.

In the car, Rahul and Arshi were together and  funnily were discussing about the next track that they would be working on. It was for a short film, named Kashmiriyat, that was directed and produced by Divyansh. Rahul was going to be singing the track and the recording was already over. It was more like a brain storming session that was going on in the car. Rahul got a fantastic idea for the song and they decided to work on it that night itself or the next morning. It was a weird and unusual start of their married life.

They reached home at 3:00 AM and then they were welcomed by Ma and Baba. Arshi had to enter the house leaving her footprints drenched in red colour on a white sheet. They then had to go to the Puja to put up the palm impressions of the new couple. The two then, went upstairs to their room and the others left. Ma and Baba went off to their room. Rahul and Arshi went up to the room, that was brilliantly decorated with flowers and all was peacefully ignored by them. Rahul went off to change his clothes while Arshi sat infromt of the mirror, removing her jewelleries and untieingher hair. Rahul came out of the washroom, to find Arshi struggling to remove her necklace. He went up to her and helped her. It took close to an hour and extreme efforts of Rahul and Arshi to get rid of all the 98 clips that secured the hair bun. Arshi went to the washroom, changed to her pyjamas and both of them headed to Rahul's music room to edit the recordings. They worked from 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM and Rahul ended up sleeping there. Arshi, after the work was over, went to her room to get ready. She was used to sleepless nights. She took the blanket from the room, and put it on Rahul gently as he slept on the chair.
