Rahul and Arshi had carved a beautiful world of their own. Rahul would go to Arshi's place, pick her up and head to the studio, complete the work there, and return back to Arshi's place for a cup of coffee and then leave. As soon as Rahul would reach home and freshen up, they would connect on a video call, chat for some time, and then wrap up for the day. They had become truly inseparable.
Rahul woke up early that morning and headed to the kitchen for coffee and then went on to call Arshi who was still sleeping but Rahul's call compelled her to get up. She responded immediately. She picked up the call and replied and replied drowsily, "Good morning, Rahul." Rahul was astonished that Arshi was still sleeping as she usually got up earlier than Rahul and said, "Hey. Good Morning. How come you weren't awake. It is already 9:00 AM and you are usually up by this time." Arshi smiled and answered, "Yes I know. I just overslept. I will just freshen up and call you back within 10 minutes." Rahul agreed. Arshi got up, took a shower, and headed to the kitchen for a cup of coffee and then called up; Rahul. Rahul picked it up even before the first ring was over.
Rahul started, "Good Morning. How are you doing ma'am?" Arshi answered in an exaggeratedly sweet tone," I am doing very fine. Thank you. What are you doing?" Rahul replied, "Nothing much. Just bored at home. No one is there at home. Ma and Baba have left for Delhi the last night for some work and will be returning after a fortnight. So I am all alone at home doing nothing. What about you?" Arshi answered, "Oh. I actually don't have any plans for now. I hope you remember that we were supposed to meet Anu and Nakul for lunch today, Can you confirm again about the same." Rahul had completely forgotten about it and said, "It had completely slipped off my mind. I shall confirm it from her now. Hold on for a moment." He put Arshi's call on hold and called Anu. Anushree answered in the affirmative and set up the meeting at 'Coffee and Us' at 2:00 PM and hung up. Rahul continued his call with Arshi and informed her about the lunch with Anushree and Nakul. She agreed. The conversation continued until 12:00 noon that was about 2 and a half hours. They finally disconnected as Arshi and Rahul had to get ready and Rahul also had to drive to Arshi's place to pick her up.
Arshi went on to grab some toast along with peanut butter as she was starving. Rahul had his breakfast during the call itself. Arshi had to get ready by 1:30 PM. She worked out till 1:00 PMand again headed for a shower as she was feeling way too sweaty and tired. Arshi headed out of the shower at 1:15 PM. She had already chosen her outfit before the shower. She chose a summery sleeveless free-flowing dress that ended just below her knee and a denim jacket along with a pair of sneakers. She did her makeup and changed to the dress and blow-dried her hair and styled it. She was satisfied with her look. She gave a call to Rahul to ask her how long would he take to reach. He replied, "I will take an hour more." This irritated Arshi. She said, How can you be late Rahul. I am so desperate to meet our friends and here you are telling me that you will be coming late. Anyway, have you left or not..." Her words were interrupted by the doorbell ringing. She went on to the door and found Rahul standing right there. Rahul laughed and said," I am sorry for this prank but I never thought you will react like this. Let's leave." That is when Rahul noticed Arshi and her attire. He was truly mesmerized and whispered, You look breathtaking. Oh god! I am at a loss of words. My goodness. Arshi blushed and kissed Rahul softly on his cheeks and hugged him and said, "You look no less gorgeous, my love." Rahul was dressed in a pair of khaki pants, neon and denim jacket, and t-shirt. Rahul had never heard Arshi flirt this way with him. He blushed and kissed her on her forehead and they both headed to the restaurant.
They reached at 2:15 PM and Anushree and Nakul had already reached and were settled in. They went on to the table and Anushree saw them and got up, Nakul followed. Anushree gave a tight hug to Rahul and Arshi and introduced them to Nakul. They shook hands and sat down. Rahul and Arshi took an instant liking towards Nakul. Nakul was tall about 5'11". He was kind, warm, and welcoming. He was in corporate but wasn't a usual boring corporate slave. It made complete sense to Rahul and Arshi why Anushree liked him. Nakul was really sweet to tell them that he was a fan of the two and also asked Anushree, "Why had you not informed me that you have such famous friends? I am indeed an Akshat Amit fan and I really like your songs, Rahul and Arshi." They continued with their talks. They ordered lunch and sat there till about 4:00 PM chatting about a lot of stuff. The four of them had a lot in common including hobbies, music preferences, books, and many more.
At 4:00 PM, they left the restaurant. Anushree and Nakul went for shopping while Arshi and Rahul left for Arshi's place. Rahul had decided to stay at Arshi's place for some time and return back after dinner.
Arshi and Rahul reached Arshi's place at 5:00 PM. Arshi went off to change to her pyjamas while Rahul waited in her room waiting for her to come.
They had the entire evening ahead of them and had no idea how it would unfold. The only thing they were aware of was that they were going to be by each others' side and have fun.
