The Party

Arshi agreed that it was the right time to go ahead and tell everyone the truth. She wanted to be the one to confess to Rahul and not the vice versa. She had to plan something great. She was ready to tell the world that she is in love and Rahul too was okay with it. She had planned that she will do it soon. 

Rahul and Arshi had planned a weekend getaway to Goa as they had an extended weekend off. They had a lot of fun in Goa. Rahul, there had said, "I am so happy that I have you by my side. The fact is that I want us to be together and I want the world to know about us. Let some time pass by, we will hopefully be able to do it soon. Arshi hugged him and said, "I agree." After returning from Goa, they had planned to do an announcement in the studio but decided otherwise. It seemed as if the plan was being postponed repeatedly. 

Radhika had planned a small get together to celebrate the success of Beech Raaste as it crossed 2 Million views in no time and thus they had decided to celebrate it. Rahul was happy and believed that it was the right occasion to propose Arshi. 

Rahul got Radhika to confidence and Radhika was happy to help Rahul. Radhika planned the entire thing and everyone agreed to come. 

The Party

The party started at 6:30 PM and everyone arrived by 7:30 PM. They spoke and enjoyed the evening. Rahul was looking really handsome in a lovely blazer, shirt, dark blue pants and Black shoes. Arshi, seeing Rahul said, "You look amazing!! I never knew that you will be dressed up so meticulously. May I say I skipped a beat there!" Rahul smiled and said, "May i add on, You look great yourself too." seeing Arshi dressed in a black single piece dress that ended just above her knee and white sneakers and a denim jacket that half hung in her arm. They both looked stunning. 

The party was at peak in the evening and they all were chilling. Radhika came to the centre and grabbed the mic and to grab the attention of people, said, "We are all meeting after so long and it will be great if Akshat sir could come here and sing a bit. Akshat sir from the back said, "Why not Rahul sing today?" Everyine pushed for it and Rahul finally went to the centre and said, "Okay. If I have to sing something I would go with Rabba main kya karun" He started humming it. It was the same song that was Arshi and Rahul's first song together and Arshi's first song for a movie. As he was approaching to the female vocals, Akshat sir signalled Arshi to join in and she obliged. They both loved it as they ended the song. Rahul, after the song was over, continued while Arshi moved back. Rahul said, "So as we are also here. I think I would use this as an opportunity to inform something to everyone here. I shall not make it lengthy and directly get to the point." He went towards Arshi, held her hands and got her to the centre and continued, "It is something I have been wanting to tell everyone for quite some time. Arshi, " He went down on his knees and said, "I love you." Arshi was on the verge of tears. Arshi replied, "I was not expecting it so soon. But I love you too." They hugged each other. Everyone was visibly surprised and was happy for them. They hugged and Arshi cried,Rahul wiped her tears, "Don't cry, Girl." Everyone congratulated them. Akshat sir asked jokingly, "How long has it been? You were supposed to get married, Arshi but it got cancelled. A lot happening. Could you please explain?" Arshi signalled Rahul to go ahead. Rahul said, "It is been one and half years and we wanted to not tell everyone initially. But it had been quite sometime. About the marriage, Yes! Arshi was supposed to get married to Ishaan but then she walked out as..." He was about to continue when Arshi nodded to not speak about it. But Rahul said, "There is nothing to hide here. Arshi was forced to get married to Ishaan as that scoundrel blackmailed her that if she wouldn't get married to him then he will get my voice replaced for the album Bhoomi. Arsh did not want that so she agreed to marry him." Akshat sir was surprised , "How would he have done that?" Arshi said, "Ishaan is Manish's cousin and Ishaan had said that Manish had Vashishth's records of the songs too and he could have easily done it. Later, when we confirmed with Manish, he was not iintimidated about the same by Ishaan and he was blackmailing without any strong base. Radhika helped me to prepone the release and after that I called off the marriage. That is what the situation was like." 

Everyone understood the situation and congratulated Arshi and Rahul. The two requested everyone to keep it a closed affair and not tell everyone Everyone agreed. 

The party went fine and the rest of the evening was beautiful.
