CHAPTER 6 (PART 2): READY TO FIRE
12 DAYS BEFORE JULY 13
"WHEN YOU SAID something fun, I didn't realize that it was going to be your idea of fun." Parcival said, crossing his arms across his chest.
I scowled. "Oh don't be such a baby, Parci. Come on!" I'm holding a 9mm caliber pistol, not my favorite one but it will do since may gumagamit ng favorite kong .45 caliber pistol.
I turned and pointed the muzzle of my gun to him. His eyes widened and he raised both of his hands.
"What are you--"
I pulled the trigger.
He closed his eyes.
"You should have seen your face!" I said, still laughing.
Napabusangot naman siya. "That's mean."
Ginawa ko lang yun sakanya para biruin siya and it was definitely worth it.
"Paano kung may bala pa pala yun?" He asked, his tone sarcastic and a bit annoyed.
I rested my hand on his shoulder.
I assured him. I walked towards the table where I placed my gun.
He just rolled his eyes before following me. "Do you always go here?"
I nodded, retrieving my gun and loading the magazine. "Yup. The first time I went here was when I was 12." After living under the same roof with an abusive father, my mom believed that it was best for me to learn how to shoot. But of course, it was a secret.
I turned to look at him.
"You might want to put your ear protector again." I said.
