CHAPTER 8: I CAME HERE TO PARTY TONIGHT
D-DAY, JULY 13
THE CLOCK READ 6:30PM. I had just finished dressing up for the party tonight. I was wearing a mini red dress full of sequins which I paired with my black stilettos. I left my hair down, curling it. Medyo sanay na ako sa length ng buhok ko. I still prefer my long hair but it'll grow back.
I made sure to put eyeliner, mascara, and red lipstick.
When I was done, I took my purse and put the essentials. And by essentials, I mean some of my makeup in case I needed a retouch, my wallet and my phone.
Cafe just texted me that he was already there, so mag-isa akong pupunta doon. Dala ang kotse ko ay pumunta ako sa address na tinext ni Cafe.
Nakarating ako around 7PM. Sure, it was still a bit early but I was too stressed out with everything that has happened for the past few weeks, which is why I wanted to get some alcohol in my system as soon as possible. I plan to get wasted tonight.
The house was huge. Pagpasok ko, marami narin ang mga tao. I even saw some who looked like they were already drunk. Agad kong hinanap si Cafe.
"B! You're already here!" Tili ni Cafe nang makita ako. Lumapit pa siya lalo saakin at dinikit ang bibig sa tenga ko. "I brought brownies!"
Because I know Cafe, I immediately knew they weren't normal brownies; they were pot brownies. We call these brownies happy brownies.
I just laughed and pushed him slightly.
"Come on Lucybells, let's get some drinks." He pulled me with him to the kitchen. Kumuha siya ng dalawang beer in can at inabot saakin ang isa. I opened it and took a sip.
"Fuck, I love beer!" Sigaw ni Cafe, giggling.
"Where are the two idiots?" I asked him, noticing that Dash and Parcival weren't here yet.
"The last time I talked to them, they were on their way na daw." Sagot niya bago muling nilagok ang beer. I drank mine too.
After finishing our drinks, we both took a second beer and went to the living room where the people were dancing at. Malawak ang living room at nilagyan pa talaga ng dance floor ang sahig. We both started dancing. Through the window, the moon acted as a light, providing a natural disco ball in the room.
We continued dancing and singing. Cafe left a while ago and when he returned, he gave me another can of beer. It was my third drink, so I was getting a little tipsy.
