Harry and I's getaway was filled with endless songs and ideas and I was getting more excited about my album with each verse we wrote.

I was sat at the piano wearing an oversized t-shirt over my bikini. Harry and I were relaxing in the hot tub when the verse came to me and I quickly dried myself and threw on Harry's shirt not realising it with his.

"Where are you going?!" He asked laughing at my squealing.

"Come on! I'm writing a new song," I said excitedly rushing to the music room.

Harry came in moments later with a towel drying his hair.

"... And boots weren't made for sitting by the door
Since you don't wanna stay anymore
You can have your space, cowboy
I ain't gonna fence you in
Go on ride away, in your Silverado
Guess I'll see you 'round again
I know my place, and it ain't with you
Well, sunsets fade, and love does too
Yeah, we had our day in the sun
When a horse wants to run, there ain't no sense in closing the gate
You can have your space, cowboy,"

I continued playing the chord progression while my phone was recording. Harry sat next to me as I played and I shifted my head to see him smiling at me.

I got up to grab my journal before sitting back by Harry and writing down all my thoughts and lines.

"What about, After the gold rush, there ain't no reason to stay
Shoulda learned from the movies that good guys don't run away," Harry sang mimicking the chord progression I played. I beamed up at him with enthusiasm.

"I love that," I said writing it down. "But roads weren't made to not go down
And there ain't room for both of us in this town," I sang looking at Harry.

"It's bloody brilliant," he smiled played the chords.

I sang through the whole song with a few missed noted and mistaken lyrics. "I love it," I said holding my journal to my chest. Harry put his arm around me and pulled me into his chest.

"Me too," he said kissing my hairline.

I stopped recording on my phone and began to jot down a few more ideas for the song. I think a steel guitar would sound gorgeous. You can take me out of Nashville but Nashville will always be with me.

Harry and I continued to mull over the song until I was sure I was in love with it. Eventually he left me alone to start cooking dinner and I just began playing new chords progressions and notes.

Feeling slightly guilty for making Harry cook the third day in a row I left the piano and went to the kitchen to see Harry singing the song we were just working on.

"Must be good," I said standing next to him, grabbing two wine glasses. I filled both with rosé and Harry gently tapped his glass with mine once I handed it to him.

"I love it, is it about him?" He asked stirring the chicken and vegetables in the pan.

"I guess subconsciously," I shrugged sitting on the counter next to him. "It's just kind of came to me after you said, 'love can come and go, that's the hard things about love.' Y'know like, we had our day in the sun, we had our time together and it's over. No need to stay in a relationship that is dying."

"It's beautiful," he said smiling showcasing both dimples.

Harry continued making dinner while I sat and drank wine sharing stupid jokes or stories. It was nice, it always was, being with Harry. I always cherished our alone time because we just grew closer. It further proved that there was nothing that would ever separate us.

Our night consisted of recording demo's of the songs we worked on together before heading to bed around 2 in the morning.

I had a surprise for Harry, I knew life was going be very hectic for him as he was getting ready for his album launch in December. He had different radio shows and appearances coming up to promote his new album. Harry had been looking online for a pearl necklace and I know he hadn't found one yet so I spent an entire day a few weeks ago looking for one. I eventually found the perfect one and ordered it.

"I have something for you," I said walking up to Harry who was sitting at the piano. The long rectangle box was behind my back and Harry gave me a confused look.

"What is it?" He asked as I handed him the box and sat next to him.

"Open it."

His eyes stayed on mine for a few moments before looking down at the velvet box. His chipped black nails opened the box slowly and I was getting butterflies watching him open it. His eyes widened with shock before he smiled widely at me.

"Cash, how did you-"

"I saw you looking for one so I scoured the internet until I found the perfect one," I said resting my head on top of my knee that was pulled into my chest looking adoringly at Harry. "Do you like it?"

"I love it," he said with an intense infatuation laced in his voice. I blushed and smiled even wider.

"Can I?" I asked gesturing to the necklace to put it on him. He nodded wordlessly and handed me the necklace. I stood behind him and latched it together letting it delicately hang around his neck, it suited him so much better than I thought.

His hands grasped mine and he squeezed lightly. "Thank you," he said standing to give me a hug and kiss on the cheek.

"Always," I said moving one of his curls behind his ear.
