Harry insisted we have a date. I wasn't complaining, he wanted to do all the work so he made me stay away from the kitchen while he prepared everything. I thought it was cute how adamant he was about doing this. He didn't even let me out of the bedroom, he gave me his guitar to keep me occupied and told me he wanted it to be a surprise.

I started working on the song I was humming the other day, the melody never left me. Harry's words, love is a wild thing, kept swirling through my head as I wrote down different lines and verses.

You can't find it sitting on a shelf in a store
If you try to hide it, it's gonna shine even more

Even if you lose it, it will find you
There's no way to stop it, but they'll try to

Running like a river trying to find the ocean
Flowers in the concrete
Climbing over fences, blooming in the shadows
Places that you can't see
Coming through the melody when the night bird sings
Love is a wild thing,

I heard a knock at the door before Harry walked in with a smile.

"Ms. Claybourne, may I take you on a date?" He asked walking up to me. His sunglasses pushed his hair back with a loose white t-shirt and faded bluejeans.

"Hmm," I hummed placing the guitar on the bed and walking to Harry

"Hmm," I hummed placing the guitar on the bed and walking to Harry. My arms wrapped around his neck as he smiled. "I should warn you that I have a boyfriend," I said innocently.

"Is that so?" he played along tilting his head to the side. "I don't see him," he shrugs looking around the room.

"Maybe this can be our little secret then, but I should warn you," My voice was low as I leaned into to whisper in his ear. "He's amazing in bed." I heard a soft sigh making me smile.

"Guess, you'll have to see who's better after dinner." His gaze was promising and I gulped at the deep look in his eyes.

He led me out of the room and outside onto the back porch where he set up candles and put up twinkly lights. Where did he get this?

Red wine was poured and dinner was being eaten as we talked about non-work related things. He brought up my living situation which put me on edge for some reason. If he wanted to move out I would understand. But, if he wanted me to stay is it too soon? We had literally only been dating 6 days despite the four years of friendship between us.

"I was thinking, I'll be on tour soon. I know we've only been together almost a week but I want you to stay living with me, I want it to be our home. I also want you to just think about it, at least live there while I'm on tour."

My heart swelled at his words but I was equally nervous. I had never lived with my partner before and I knew this would require a lot of grace and forgiveness from both of us as we navigated this new part of life. I also knew that tour was a long time so it wouldn't really feel like living together. By the time he's back from tour we'll have been together for almost a year. That was a crazy thought to think.

Harry and I had been living together the past month anyway since the break-in and we were getting on just fine. I weighed the pros and cons. Pros: I get to wake up and fall asleep next to Harry. I'll have a home. Cons: we had been dating for only 6 days. I knew time really didn't matter but all I could hear in my head was my mother's condescending voice.

I was so tired of doing what other people wanted and not following my own wants and desires. If I wanted to move in with Harry then it shouldn't matter what other people think.

"Okay," I said taking a sip of my wine.

"Really?" He sounded shocked but the smile on his face told me it was a good shock.

"If you want me to then yes. The only reason I would say no is because we've only been dating 6 days and I wonder what people will think, but I'm so tired of living for other people's approval. I want to be able to do what I want to do, so yes, I want to move in with you."

Everything was happening so fast but I was sure of two things: 1. I love Harry 2. He loves me
