Boba a Star Wars story

An old friend

We were back on the upper levels of Coruscant and landed the ship on top of a tall building. An hour ago, we got some free weapons and parts for the ship from Lazrin. He thanked me because imperials on most of the levels evacuated. When we were at the junkyard a crowd of people gathered around me Bossk and IG they thanked us for freeing them from Imperial reign. As Bossk was adding modifications along with IG to the ship. I was standing at the edge of the complex looking at the building two blocks away. My research on the holonet points my target living at that building it's funny that the exact floor and room he lives on is the same one that a target my father hunted down she was a senator from Naboo. I took out my Amban sniper rifle and aimed it at the balcony of the building, I saw the target walk out to the balcony with the lights on carrying something, as soon as I saw him my body filled with rage he made me think of my painful experiences of the Sarlacc and Caraerian taking my family from me and I owed it all to him. I was about to pull the trigger until, I saw he had two children in his hands, looking at them reminded me of Emma and all of the amazing memories I made with her and Geena and I owed it all to him to. I had no choice but to finally confront him after  6 years I am finally going to do this. I watched as he nodded at his guards and walked back into his room and the lights went out. I set my sniper rifle to stun and on silence as I shot the seven guards surrounding the building. I then fired my wrist cable at the building and jumped off I climbed the cable up to the balcony entering his house. I saw a baby's crib there were two sleeping inside a boy the other a girl, the baby woke up and saw me, she was reaching out to me with her hand she reminded me of Emma when she was a child, then I heard the sound of a loading gun a voice behind me said "turn around slowly" I smirked and said "Solo" I turned around and saw him in person finally he hadn't aged a day he had just got out of bed but the princess next to him was still sleeping. Solo looked at me in shock and said "Boba, I thought you were dead" I answered "even the almighty Sarlacc can't kill me" Han asked in a curious tone "what is it you want Boba here to kill me?" I chuckled and said "I would have but the only thing that's stopping me from turning you into a pile of ash are those kids" Han looked confused and said "why do you care you don't have kids, you don't have a family" I got angry but tried to keep my temper "I did they're dead, I came here to thank you because without you I wouldn't have had them." Solo looked shocked and said "what happened" I answered "Caraerian I was living a quiet life on Jartio for five years and she killed them, I also came to say you owe me" Solo looked confused and said "why would I owe you, you froze me in carbonite and you expect me to give you something" I replied "you have no idea what happened in the Sarlacc it's an experience no one should go through carbon freezing is nothing compared to what I went through. You owe me because I just got rid of all the imperials on the lower levels" Solo lowered his blaster and said "that was you, I should have known rumors were spreading of a Mandalorian bounty hunter on the lower levels, I guess I do owe you, what do you want?" I answered "Information I know the New Republic has information on all imperials I need Information on Caraerian and Lumiya" Solo nodded his head and said "come with me we'll go down to the main capitol pick up some records" he proceeded to take out a remote that sent out a signal and flew in an empty speeder. I called Bossk on the com link in my helmet and said "I'm at his house it looks like this is gonna take longer than anticipated" Bossk responded "good luck, Me and Ig are still putting modifications on the ship this is gonna take a while as well" he hung up and I  got into the speeder with Solo while we were driving, I saw the buildings around me. I then asked Solo "you miss the person you use to be" giving me a confused look he answered "what do you mean" I elaborated "your a general now, I remember we when you were a smuggler who didn't have responsibilities, who traveled the galaxy doing whatever he wanted" Solo looked like he was thinking hard and said "Sometimes I do, but being a father is a completely new experience for me I can give them a life I had always wanted" I answered "I know how that feels" Solo looked at me and said "you said you were a farmer on Jartio what was that life like" I answered "it was peaceful, a different pace it was the life my father had when he was a child and the life I wanted to give my daughter Geena, I wanted you to know the carbon freezing was nothing personal, I took the job from Vader and Jabba like I took any other one. When I brought you to Jabba, he wanted to kill you, to throw you to the Rancor and watch you ripped to shreds. I talked him out of it, I felt I owed you. When we were kids we took jobs from anyone who had some credits. I respected you, but business is business I made sure it was me who brought you in not one of those clowns with no honor who would shoot you and be done with it. I always put the job first over anything I do, but when I found my family that all changed and I thank you for that." I saw Solo shed a tear he smiled at me and said "thankyou"we reached the capitol, it looked quite different since it has been remodeled twice, once when the Empire took control and twice when the Rebellion took control. The statues of the Emperor have been removed, and so have the Imperial flags. But the building looks like it's been seriously damaged from the battle of Coruscant when the Rebellion took the capitol. We walked inside and came into the hall of records. Han used the Holocomputer to search through records. He then took out to records of Lumiya and Caraerian and downloaded them on a small holodisc. Solo handed me the disc and said "it's all we have on those two good luck, but our intelligence in the outer rim says that they have spotted Imperials loyal to Caraerian snooping around in great numbers, we've attacked some of them but haven't found out what they're up to." I answered "thank you I'll look into it" We shook hands and I left the capitol we said nothing but we both new this was probably the last time we'd ever see each other but at least we made amends. I made my way back to Bossk, he said the ship was ready, I went in and sat in the cockpit, turned on the engine and left the planet, just flying the ship brought back memories it felt like it was yesterday when my father let me fly it for the first time, but it also made me think how the future is looking very optimistic.
