41: Recovery

So I'm starting to get really excited about this book so I'm updating a lot and writing long chapters. Do you guys like that?

Elizabeth POV
I'm not sure what happened to Zeldris. I know Meliodas must have put him in the hospital but I don't know how bad. I hope he didn't hurt Estarossa he's such a good kid. I was in the hospital and unfortunately my man couldn't be in here with me due to his criminal record. He was waiting for me out in the parking lot in Arthur's car.

Arthur just got out of the hospital too and he's the only one that's not involved with the police right now so Meliodas asked if he could come in with me. Arthur was such a sweet man gladly helped me into the hospital. I had so many questions but I didn't want to stress anyone out considering everyone has been through a shit ton in the past week.

While the nurse tended to my wounded body she also did a pee test. Of course Arthur waited for me in the waiting room. That would be really embarrassing if he was in here with me.

"Well I don't want to lie to you Elizabeth but it's not looking to well. Do you mind if I take a look?" I nodded. She made sure the door was all the way shut and pulled the curtain around us. She then washed her hands and put on gloves. I laid on my back and lifted up my hospital gown. She sat on a stool at the end of the bed and had a flashlight in hand.

"Okay does it hurt when I touch here?"

"A little bit."

"Does it hurt when you pee?"

"Yes." This is so embarrassing! I've never had anything wrong with me down there before. Please don't tell me it's an STD I'll lose my fucking mind.

"Well the area looks a little red and sore. You definitely don't have an STD which is very good but you seem to have a UTI. Luckily with proper higiene and antibiotics we can fix that. I would refrain from having sex for a while until your infection goes away."

A weight was lifted off of my shoulders hearing it wasn't an STD. Thank god. After all that I got the discharge papers, prescriptions, and care.

"Okay Elizabeth your ready to go. My suggestions to you is keep a healthy diet and proper higiene. Also take it easy to let the wounds on your arms and legs heal. I also wrote a little list of helpful soap products that wont irritate the skin and is sensitive between the legs."

I smiled and left to see Arthur waiting for me. He held his arm out for me to grab and walked me out to the car. Once I got in Meliodas smiled and held my hand.

"Thank you Arthur." He said. He sat next to me in the backseat and gave me comfort as Arthur drove.

"We seen to drop this at the pharmacy and I need to pick up a few things." I said. Arthur nodded going to the local drug store/ pharmacy.

"How are you doing baby?" Meliodas rubbed my thigh gently.

"The nurse said I'll be alright. I just need to take care of myself. I can give you deeper details at home. It's kinda personal and I only want you to hear."

He nodded and kissed my cheek. Meliodas my sweet boy. He was so good to me. I've missed him more than anything. Once we got to the pharmacy Arthur got out again and walked with me inside. I put in the doctors note for the antibiotics to the pharmacy and they told me my medication would be ready in a few hours.

I was feeling uncomfortable knowing I still haven't showered and I looked homeless. But the nice thing is that my friends and my boyfriend didn't care. I got the higiene items the nurse recommended and a few other things then paid with Meliodas's card. He insisted I take it. Finally we got to King and Elaines house and everyone was sitting in the backyard talking catching up and explaining things. I wanted to join but I knew I had things to do.
