32: Surprise

Meliodas POV
"Elizabeth this smells really good!" Arthur said sitting down at the table. She had cooked steak tips with some vegetables and rice. I'm already getting wife vibes. I placed a kiss on her cheek and thanked her for cooking dinner.

"Your welcome, you guys eat up there's plenty." She finally sat and started eating her self. The table was quiet everyone was to busy chewing and enjoying the delicious food. Next thing I knew there was a knock on the door. Who the hell was knocking at my door?

"Oh I can get it." Said my girlfriend as she wiped her mouth and stood up. When she opened up the door it revealed Elaine. She seemed a little stressed out. I swallowed my food and looked back at her wondering what was up.

"Hey Elaine come on in. We're eating dinner if you'd like to come and join." She walked in and sat down next to me. All of a sudden she started crying and hugged me hard. My eyes went wide and I held her back. What's going on? I haven't seen Elaine cry in a really long time.

"Woah what's going on?" She pulled away from me and looked me in the eyes.

"Meliodas there is so much going on and I don't know if I can handle it anymore. I miss Ban so much."

"I miss him too." I said and looked away. Seeing her like this made me angry.

"King is hiding something from you and I can't pretend I don't know." She continued talking. Everyone looked at her feeling a bit sad for her. Elizabeth took her hand and held it to give comfort.

"And I'm coming to you because your the only one I feel can help me right now. Your like my brother."

"Elaine what are you trying to say?"

"I'm pregnant!" She bursted out with tears again.

"What?!" I yelled looking at her.

"It's Ban's kid right!" I said concerned. She smacked me then wiped her tears away.

"Of course it's Ban's you idiot."

"Then why are you so sad?"

"Because what if he doesn't want a baby and how am I suppose to be pregnant all alone."

"What the fuck are you talking about? Your not alone you have all of us in this room. You have King." Elizabeth then stepped in.

"Yeah and I promise I'll be with you through all of it. I love babies." She said with a smile. Elaine smiled back and hugged Elizabeth. It was nice to see that Elizabeth was such a good help with Elaine. I can only help so much, but what Elaine really needs is a girl to talk to right now. With Diane and Merlin gone I bet she feels a little weird.

"Thanks guys." I gave her my signature smile.

"This is really exciting news. Congrats Elaine." Arthur said. He was just watching the moment. I thought back to what she had said before. King is hiding something from me?! That little shit. He knows better not to hide from the captain.

"Not to ruin the moment but there is some serious business that has to get dealt with." I stood up and my eyes turned a darker color. Anger in my eyes. Elizabeth looked a little scared and Elaine knew exactly what was happening.

"Meliodas where are you going?" Said my beautiful girlfriend. I smiled at her and quickly kissed her lips.

"Don't worry Elizabeth I'll be back soon." I grabbed my keys and went straight to kings house. Little bitch, he's been lying to me. Wait until I get my hands on him.

Once I pulled into the driveway I slammed my car door shut and bursted through the front door. I heard the tv in the living room on and he was laughing at whatever was on. I walked in and he looked up at me a little confused.

"Oh hey captain. Long time no see. I thought Elaine went over to your house to see you." I turned the tv off and grabbed him by his throat.

"I heard you've been keeping shit from me. That true?" He squirmed as I picked him up.

"What are you talking about?!" He muttered trying to pry my hand off. Great now he's playing dumb. I threw him onto the ground and punched him right in his jaw. He coughed up blood and looked shocked.

"Captain please I don't understand. I'm not your enemy." He pleaded. I placed my foot on his head and narrowed my eyes.

"What are you hiding?" I said once more. He finally broke and answered my question. I can't believe he thought he would get away with disrespecting me. Meliodas the captain of the seven deadly sins, dragon sin of wrath!

"Okay I'll tell you!" I took my foot off of him and picked him up so he was facing me.

"You know I love you King but you also know better not to disrespect your captain. If you fuck with me again I won't hesitate now tell me." He fixed himself and took a deep breath.

"Zeldris was the one who shot me. When the ambulance came to pick me up the sins got recognized and they all got arrested. I don't know where the commandments are now but I won't be surprised if they are planning something.  When he came to the tavern that night he was looking for you."

I felt a mixture of emotions. I was mad at King for not telling me but now I was worried. Knowing Zeldris I know he must have eyes on me meaning he knows who Elizabeth is. Now my girlfriend is at danger too! Fuck!

"Why would you keep something like that from me! Fuck! How am I suppose to bust the sins out of jail if I'm being targeted not only by the police but The commandments too." I grabbed my hair and walked in a circle. No no no I left Elizabeth at home! Since I'm not there what if...

Elizabeth POV
After my boyfriend left I was a little sad. I knew he was really angry just by the look In his eyes. They were no longer a gorgeous emerald green they were dark and scary.

"Knowing Meliodas I have a feeling he went to punish my brother." Elaine said looking down.

"I have not seen Meliodas like that in a while. Last time I saw him he told me he was on meds." Arthur said scratching his head.

"He doesn't take them. I'm to nervous to question him." I said. The door slammed open revealing a man I've never seen before. He looked a lot like Meliodas but with black hair. I was scared and held onto Elaine tight. Arthur got up and stood in front of us.

"Zeldris! What are you doing here?!" Elaine yelled, her voice was shaky. So this is Meliodas's brother? He pulled a gun out suddenly and my eyes widened.

"Calm down, all you have to do is hand over sweet little Elizabeth and I'll go." I started to shake from fear. I don't want to go with him I want Meliodas!

"No! I don't want to go with you! I don't even know you!" I yelled.

"Oh so you want to do this the hard way?" Arthur then ran and tackled Zeldris to the ground. The men fought punching each other. Zeldris has dropped his gun.

"Quickly girls run!" Arthur yelled before now getting strangled by Zeldris. Tears rolled down my eyes as I grabbed Elaine and ran out of the apartment only to be stopped by another man. He grabbed both Elaine and I and then more people came. One helping Zeldris finish off Arthur and another going through Meliodas's stuff. This must be the Commandments everyone was talking about.

"Let go of us!" I yelled and kicked my legs. I could see Arthur getting the shit kicked out of him. He was just laying there taking hit after hit. The floor covered in blood and I could do nothing about it but watch.

"ARTHUR!" Elaine yelled. Next thing I knew I felt a hard bang to my head knocking me out instantly.
