7: Date???

Elizabeth POV
This must be something really important since he's coming to pick me up now. I hope he doesn't make me clock in early because I really wanted to watch my Netflix show and eat ice cream.

I made sure to take a shower and get all washed up. Don't want to look back in front of my boss. That could make him think I'm not serious and then maybe he won't want me on the team anymore! Maybe I'm just over thinking it. Oh my he's here already! I saw a text from my phone that read, "in the driveway"

Alright I have my purse and my house keys I'm all set. When I walked out of the house all I hear was his music blasting and bass booming. Oh my gosh..he's one of those drivers. I walked up with a smile and opened the side door to his surprise. Looks like he was on his phone. He immediately turned the music down and looked over smiling happily.

"Yo! What's up Elizabeth!" He said in a cheer like manner. Oh my...he looks really...Ellie stop or your gonna turn all red!

"So I thought maybe we could chat over some lunch then I could take you to work sound good?" He was already backing out of the drive way.

"That sounds nice." I said looking around the car and out of the window. He turned his music back up slightly but not nearly as loud. He was listening to hip hop. I love all music so I was enjoying the songs that came on. Even though it had some really horrible language in it.

"What do you like to eat? I was thinking maybe Panera?" He said turning on his blinker ready to turn.

"I love that place! They have really good Mac and cheese!" I couldn't help but get excited. When I really look at Sir Meliodas I seriously cant help how sexy he looks. I know it's wrong but damn. He smells so good too. Most girls my age go for the 6ft guys but I don't care if he's shorter than me. He's so charming how could you judge him on his height.

"Alright time to eat!" He said parking in the lot and turning off the car. Just in time my stomach started growling.

When we went inside he told me to go find a nice seat and while he went to order food. I gave him my wallet to pay for my meal and surprisingly he took it.

Meliodas POV
Elizabeth really thinks I'm gonna make her pay for her food? Is she nuts she said she can't even buy groceries. I'm paying sorry Elizabeth. I got some people starring at me which really made my blood boil. If I get caught at a fucking Panera I'm gonna shoot someone.

"Hi can I get two large bowls of Mac and cheese and two small cups." The cashier then took my money and gave me the cups and a buzzer to let me know when the food was done. Ya know I really took her here as a date and she doesn't know it. Plus I still don't know what I'm going to tell her. Maybe I'll just lie. She seems like she drinks lemonade.

I'm gonna get a water. I've been drinking to much alcohol a little water won't hurt.

"Hey buddy not that it's any of my business but you sure do look like that Meliodas guy on the news all the time." A man said pretty loudly as I put a lid on the cups.

"I'm not sure what your talking about. There are a lot of guys with blonde hair ya know." I tried best to keep my cool.

"Yeah that's true but you seriously look just like him. But I'm probably wrong the real Meliodas wouldn't look so handsome and proper like you. He's a gang member probably looks like he's gotten hit by a car a few time haha!"

Stupid fucking bastard. I walked away. Lucky that Elizabeth was here I wouldn't have a problem coming in here and killing that man. There she is that gorgeous girl waiting for me.

"Sorry that took so long I got caught up by someone. I got you some lemonade thought you might like that." I placed the cups down and sat down across from her with a big smile.

"That's perfect! It's like you know me Sir Mel-" I quickly put my hand over her mouth with wide eyes. Shit! That was close. She blushed bright red looking into my eyes.

"Elizabeth please let's keep my name down in public. I promised you I would tell you everything and I will but I can't tell you here in public." I whispered. She looked quite confused wondering what I was talking about.

"So why are we here? I thought we were going to talk here?" All of a sudden the buzzer went off.

"I'll be back." I went to get the food and sat back down with the tray.

"I brought us here because I really just wanted to get to know you. I'm sorry I lied to you." She was quiet for a second and grabbed her bowl of Mac and cheese.

"So you think this is a date?" She said which made my eyes wide. I couldn't help but blush and frown looking down. Maybe I seriously fucked up.

"You should feel ashamed because if I were any other girl you would probably get slammed. But lucky you I'll accept your date."

Wait what?

"I'm sorry what?"

"You heard me." She said sassy like and then took her bite of Mac and cheese. She wants a date? Fuck my pants are starting to get tight....

This is not the time to start getting a boner! Calm down Meliodas.

"Everything okay?" She asked looking up at me. I sweat dropped pushing my hand down on my self. Jesus Christ.

"Uh yeah you just took me off guard. I'm still not understanding what just happened."

"I'm not going to explain it for you because I'll get embarrassed. I already am embarrassed." She started blushing as well. It was strange to feel this way about a woman. Usually I wouldn't give a fuck if a woman liked me.

This is different. I just shook my head and started to eat my food hopefully not feeling so flustered. After we both finished our food we went back to my car and that's when things got crazy..
