THIS WILL BE our last day of school for the first semester of this academic year.
Naka-civilian clothes kaming mga babae pati si Dean ngayon dahil sabi ni Queen ay dapat pumorma kami to kiss this sem goodbye. Natawa na lang ako kasi hindi ko gets.
Snow was wearing a sky blue floral wrap midi dress and white sneakers. Naka-half ponytail ang natural loose curls niya gamit ang hair tie na may bulaklak na desenyo rin. Si Queen naman ang sexy sa suot niyang red tie front and shoulder bra na terno sa red pleated silk high rise culottes niya with nude Mary Jane heels. Mabuti na lang at hindi strikto ang UP sa dress code kasi kahit naka-pajama ka lang ay oks na. Paniguradong hindi rin papapasukin 'to dahil sa suot kapag nagkataon, iba-banned pa kamo.
Pagkatapos suklayin ang buhok ay inilagay ko na ang itim na manipis na headband sa ulo ko. Inayos ang pagkakabutones ng cuffs ng suot kong lilac dress shirt na nakatuck in sa high rise kong jeans na nakatupi naman ng dalawang inches mula sa sapatos ko. Bukas ang unang butones niyon kaya ang kwelyo ko na lang ang inayos ko. I paired my outfit with my favorite white sneakers to complete my '90s look.
I lifted my compact mirror again, trying to see half of how I look entirely. Fingercombed ko rin ang bangs. Hindi ko alam kung bakit nagpapaganda ako kaya mahina na lang akong natawa sa isipan ko at itinago na sa backpack ko ang compact mirror.
"Why don't we just skip our classes?" suhestiyon ni Queen.
Nasa Nena's kaming tatlo ngayon tumatambay. May klase na kasi 'yong dalawang lalaki.
"Anong namang valid reason mo para gawin 'yon?" I shot back. She shrugged her shoulders.
"It's the last day of school. Profs will surely just spare this time to do all the farewell and dramas."
"Tapos punta tayong Jabe?" alok ko sa kanya.
"Save your bad ideas for yourself and stomach," she grimaced.
"Naku, papasok ako kahit na anumang mangyari. Sayang din 'yong learning sa huling araw ng klase kung palalampasin ko," I told her.
"Nerd," she spat.
"Sabi pa man sa akin ng tiyahin ko, si Aunt Jody noong nasa kanila pa ako. No skipping school! Even if the building's on fire, you wait for your period to end and die with honor," proud kong hayag sabay hampas sa dibdib ko.
Snow chuckled while Queen rolled her eyes.
"Ah, Chinese nerd. You and your weird philosophies in life."
WE DROPPED QUEEN in her class to make sure she will not really skip it then Snow and I went on separate ways to attend ours.
"Enjoy your semestral break but get yourselves prepared for the actual filmmaking when you return," our professor in Intro to Filmmaking reminded us.
