The song above is to be played when told later in the chapter.
Artemis
The morning was peaceful, we began our walk back to the bus in silence, while Athena slept comfortably on Apollo's back. I stopped as I took a glance at Apollo's feet, "Hey Pollo, I been meaning to ask you something" I spoke. "Oh yeah what?" Apollo asked turning to face me.
"Why do you have on my flip flops?" I asked with curiosity laced in my voice. "Oh that's easy just look down at your feet," Apollo said amused.
And sure enough on my feet were Apollos large slides. "Haha" I laughed sheepishly. "Well then that explains it, but you could have just found another pair of your own instead of stretching out a pair of mine," I said as I opened the door of the bus.
"This is true but you could have also found a pair of your own instead of stealing a pair of mine," Apollo said as he walked pasted me onto the bus.
"It was an accident!" I shouted as I walked onto the bus.
Once our driver Reggie came back from the lounge they have at the rest stop for the truck drivers, we were back on the road. We ended up stopping at some run-down diner for breakfast, it was our tradition after all. In each state, we've stopped at, we go to the most crummy diner it has to offer. We aren't cheap or anything it's more for a reality check of where we came from, and we tip pretty handsomely regardless of how the food taste.
There weren't many people at the diner so we got to have a calm breakfast without fans jumping over the table to get an autograph from Apollo. Though calm to us Angelos Siblings goes something like this: Apollo and I having a straw-ship (as we call it) battle across the table, while Athena looks over the menu. Seeing as this diner was known for their waffles Athena challenged us to a waffle eating contest. Which ended with her being the winner after Apollo ran to the "bathroom" that turned out to be just the back alley of the diner to throw everything up. I followed him having to hold back his hair that he decided to have naturally out today curls falling wildly on his shoulders.
When we returned to our booth Athena had a smug smirk on her face holding up her phone to show us the new rare plushie she wanted for winning. She really had a stuffed animal addiction. While showing us her phone she swiftly went to her camera roll, and to our surprise, there were pictures of Apollo battling with his last waffle along with him hurling it all up.
We all laughed as Apollo's freckled cheeks blushed a light red. We ordered some milkshakes and went over the plans for tonight's final concert when suddenly something caught my eye. It was a jukebox! I ran over after jumping Athena for some change, knowing she would have some she was 60 after all.
After looking through the music they had to offer I finally found a song that we all liked "Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing" by Stevie Wonder.
Start the song.
As the song began to play I started to walk back to the table but not without grabbing a utensil from an empty booth to use as my microphone.
Apollo was quick to follow as he grabbed a napkin box and got up from his seat. "Everybodys got a thing," Apollo sang. "But some don't know how to handle it," I sang reaching out to Athena spinning her around as the chorus hit she grabbed the spoon the lady was using behind the counter. "But don't you worry 'bout a thing, Don't you worry 'bout a thing mama" Athena sang tapping my nose.
"They say your style of life's a drag" I sag wrapping my arm around Athena's shoulder. "And that you must go other places," I said spinning Apollo around.
"Just don't you feel bad when you get fooled by smiling faces," Apollo sang as we all slammed our hands on the table. "DON'T YOU WORRY 'BOUT A THING!!" we all sang loudly.
