Artemis
I don't know how much time passed by, but the rain had stoped along with my tears. Leaving only the cloudy gray sky that could define my mind perfectly at the moment. So many thoughts were running through my head that at some point I just felt...numb.
I hadn't moved from against the door and the mud most likely made a mold out of my body, as it was now dry and cracking.
A scent by the door made me lift up my head from my knees and let out a sigh.
I rolled my eyes before he even got the chance to knock on the door.
He must have figured since he skipped the knock and just began talking.
"Hey, so are you just gonna sit on the floor and cry all day or are you gonna get up and bless the world with your beautiful presence," Apollo said as I felt him lean against the other side of the door.
I let out a chuckle before standing up and swinging open the door, causing Apollo to stumble into the room.
Shutting the door behind him I turned around to face him.
"Look I really don't need to be lectured right now," I said letting out an exasperated sigh.
"Lectured? Why would I do that Weirdo? I just came to see if you can help me get this mud and pulp out of my hair! I've taken two showers already and I still can't get it out and I'm really starting to hate the smell of oranges." He explained frantically.
"Just look at my golden highlights Art! They're not holding their vibrant ray! And my hair feels like it's matted down to my scalp, I want my bouncy curls back! Oh, my moon Goddess what if the mud and the pulp of the oranges have started growing an orange tree in my hair?!" He said looking very serious.
"I can't let Serena see me like this she'll turn around in shame! Shame Art! Shame!" Apollo yelled pacing the room and dramatically throwing around his hands.
He stopped at the mirror that was on top of the dresser in front of the bed and sighed.
"Gosh just look at me...I would be ashamed of me too. Serenas so beautiful and flawless, with her honeycomb skin and her hazel eyes, when I look at them I feel like I can finally see my whole future in those mesmerizing orbs." Apollo said as he began to daydream into the mirror.
I rolled my eyes and clapped my hands together grabbing his attention.
"Remember you came in here for a reason Dummy. Also, you know you wouldn't have this problem if you used more than a drop of Conditioner in your hair when you go to wash it." I said walking towards the bathroom.
"Hey! You know I don't like it when the soap gets into my eyes!" I heard Apollo whine as he followed me into the bathroom.
"That wouldn't happen if you just washed your hair as I showed you Pollo. Now sit down." I said pulling up the chair that was in the bathroom and placed it against the large sink.
Apollo laid back in the chair so he was still facing me, I walked to my bag and got out my conditioner and began to run it through Apollos hair.
"Sooooo, Alpha Aaron is hosting a dinner tonight for his return home and to welcome us to the pack," Apollo said avoiding my glare.
"Don't address him as if he's your Alpha. We don't need to be welcomed to the pack because we're not staying. We're helping put an end to this damn war then we're getting the hell out of here." I growled out, digging my hands deeper into Apollo's scalp.
"And if he wants us to get off his land then so be it. Actually no." I said with a chuckle.
"He will let us stay on his land as payment for helping out in this stupid war. And if he refuses I'll just kick him in that stupid handsome face of his." I said getting frustrated.
