Artemis

By now everyone had finished eating and were invested in the conversation. I knew what Franco was getting at, he wanted us to help in this upcoming war. Yes, we could help but I'm not signing my family up to take part in a war we can avoid.

"Use our help huh? And what if we refuse" I asked Franco.

"Look I understand this might not be what you were planning when you moved out here but just think, this is fate. Somehow you guys pick a house on our land and just so happen to be out on a run when Serena was attacked. And Apollo turns out to be her Mate. Come on that has to mean something!" Franco bargained looking at the three of us with hopeful eyes.

'Fate huh?' I thought shifted my eyes to look at Apollo skeptically who was trying to avoid my gaze.

He let out a sigh before continuing "Listen the Rouges will come, as you already saw last night only difference is there will be more of them. They seem to have one objective right now and that is destroying packs to build up their army. We are the second strongest pack just below the Royal pack so last night was a scouting run for those Rouges to analyze our strengths and weaknesses. One way or the other you guys will end up getting involved. If I'm being honest...we're strong but we could really use your help, there has been word that the Rouges have begun recruiting dark witches. With you three's help, we can turn the ties of this war."

"Hmm you do have some good points but guys what do you think?" I said asking Athena and Apollo.

"I'm going to do whatever it takes to protect my Mate so hell yeah I'm in!" Apollo said hugging Serena.

"Ugh I do have some new machinery I would like to try out. So I guess I'm in" Athena said with a smirk.

"Well, I go where my family goes so I'm in, but there's more isn't there Beta?" I asked analyzing him.

"Very clever aren't you. The others from last night, we have two that aren't looking so good the healers we have are doing the best they can but they're saying they may not make it so..." Franco explained.

"You want me to try and heal them," I said crossing my arms.

"Oh my gosh, this is all my fault!" Serena said covering her face.

"Yes you were very reckless Seren but the ones in your group knew what they were getting into so don't blame your self I'm just glad you're alright," Franco said offering his sister a smile.

"Thanks, Franc"Serena said wiping her eyes.

"So will you do it Artemis," Franco asked hopefully.

"Meh, I guess so. What about your Alpha you're making some pretty big decisions in his absence. Where is he by the way? I heard it had something to do with the war, I would like to know all the details of what we're agreeing to." I asked.

"Thank you we greatly appreciate it. And as Beta, I have to do what I think has the best interest for the pack and I feel that this is one of them. As for our Alpha, he is currently visiting the Royal Pack, we will be working with them to put an end to this war along with the Royal family." Franco explained.

"Sounds exciting! I assume you would like us to come immediately to heal your wounded so while we get dressed you can fix our door" I said sweetly standing up from the table.

"There should be some tools in one of these drawers, good luck!" Apollo said patting Francos back.

"Hey Serena you can come with me for something to wear," I said grabbing her hand.

"Oh thank you!" Serena said as I lead her upstairs.

"Here you go, boys, I'm pretty sure the tools in there weren't gonna do much."I heard Athena tell the boys before materializing some nails and a hammer.
