I woke up the next morning feeling great! Today would be life-changing!

And it was.

I had finally done it.

The kitchen staff made donut holes for breakfast this morning and in an instant Apollo and I knew what had to happen.

A rematch of the 2018 Donut Hole eating competition.

We've been having donut hole competitions since we were young. Our school was across the street from a Dunkin' Donuts and every day after school that was our hang out. We never wanted to go home anyway so we eventually became close with the workers there. They would save the leftover donut holes for us as an after school snack. So we made all sorts of games with them, it was silly but it made us forget about what would be awaiting us at home. As long as we made it back to the house before our mom made it home from work we were fine.

Apollo had been the champ for years and when he bought the champion belt it really lit a flame under me. From that day I was determined to wear that belt around my waist one day. And today was that day.

It was time I got my revenge for the tragedy of the 2018 match. Sigh, we had stopped at a crummy diner during the tour and I thought that was my day but no. Instead, a poor little boy got a face full of donut holes for breakfast before he was even seated. Man, he just had to walk by at that very moment.

The kid was not happy, apparently I had ruined his Spiderman shirt. It didn't help that I was an 'icky girl' which lead him to cry on the diner floor screaming about how he now had cooties.

His parents didn't seem to appreciate it either, we ended up walking out of the diner 100 dollars short and Apollo calling me Icky Girl for the rest of that tour.

But I finally did it! I won!

'Chase your dreams, kids, because they come true at some point' I thought to myself as I did my happy dance at the table.

"Gosh you're so childish," Diana said from the back my mindscape.

"Oh please, I know your pride was shot when we threw up on that little boy! I see you wagging your tail right now!" I said back to her.

"Psh YOU threw up on that child I was just suffering from second-hand embarrassment," my wolf said with an eye roll.

"We're technically the same person!" I yelled back at her.

"Wrong you're a person, I'm a wolf. Now focus looks like we have an admirer, don't mess this up!" Diana exclaimed.

"You just said WE!" I shouted at her.

"Shut up he's talking to us!" She said blocking me out.

I stopped my dance and looked at who she was talking about. Only to find out it was Aaron.

He congratulated me making me force down the heat rising to my ears.

'Omg please don't tell me he saw me looking like a retarded chipmunk gathering nuts for the winter' I internally screamed.

We went upstairs to change into our work out clothes. I threw on some gray sweat pants and a thin long sleeve lavender shirt and some running shoes. Once I made it to Apollo's room to get my champion belt, he insisted that I had somehow cheated and refused to give me what I rightfully deserved.

So I ended up having to wrestle him to the ground to get the belt from him. Idiot. He continued to argue with me as we all walked back downstairs, he even tried to make me feel guilty, bringing up the 'Hole in my Heart' song we wrote together. Whatever if he wants this belt back he'll have to either challenge me for a rematch or pry it from my cold dead hands.
