Artemis

It took roughly 2 hours but they were finally healed.

I sat down on one of the chairs next to the patient's bed and let out a sigh.

'That was a lot, they should be waking up within the next few hours though. I should go tell the Beta but ugh I'm tired.'

I closed my eyes briefly before I heard the door open. Peaking one of my eyes open I saw it was Apollo and Serena, but no Athena.

Apollo looked around the room strangely before we made eye contact.

"Has Athena stopped in here?" Apollo asked me.

"Hello to you too, oh the patients, they're fine by the way!" I said with a little attitude.

"Dammit she never listens I told her an hour," He said mostly to himself, ignoring me.

"Excuse me! Where is Athena?" I said standing up from the chair.

"Well, she decided to go look around the stables during the tour. Apollo told her to meet us back here within the hour but its been about an hour and a half and it doesn't seem like she made it back here," Serena spoke up since Apollo continued to mumble to himself.

"Apollo," I said sternly but he was already out the door.

Serena watched Apollo leave, then looked at me almost asking if she could follow him.

"You can go but can you mind link your brother to come here so I can talk to him about the patients?" I asked Serena as I sat back in the chair.

She shook her head happily before running after Apollo.

'I wonder what happened during the tour, most likely Athena's feeling a little jealous' I thought relaxing back into the chair.

"We shouldn't have let them go out by themselves" I heard Diana say through our mindscape.

"Oh look hows feeling talkative today," I said to her smirking.

"Hmph yeah you've been pretty ballsy without me," she said.

"I've always been ballsy and when am I ever without you? Don't think I don't hear your little chuckles or growls throughout the day," I said laugh to myself.

"Maybe you're imagining it pup," she said before drifting to the back of my mindscape again.

"Yup that must be it," I said out loud smiling to myself.

"What must be it?" I heard a voice say in the room.

"Dammit Beta try announcing yourself next time before you give me a heart attack" I complained standing from my chair.

"I knocked, I assumed the silence meant to come in. Besides I'm sure that didn't scare you," He said crossing his arms.

"Hmph you don't know what scares me Beta," I said walking over to him.

"No I don't but I bet it's not much, am I right?" He asked moving closer to me.

"Hm, you're close I'll give you that," I said walk away to one of the patients.

He smirked. "So you called," he said looking over the two patients.

"Yes, they are completely healed they should be waking up within the next few hours. They'll be weak for a couple of days so they should rest as much as they can." I said looking up from the patients.

"Great I'm happy to hear! Now you should get some re-" Franco began before getting cut off by the door swinging open.

It was Apollo with what it looked like to be a feverish Athena in his arms.
