Twenty Four

Evangeline's P.O.V

I smiled at my family as we were having our movie night together. I felt happy to have some time with them. After our movie night, I offered to clean up. My family went to sleep while I cleaned up my living room. I heard a knock on my door making me look over.

"Eva? You in there?" I heard Sabrina ask. I walked over to open my front door to see Sabrina standing in front of me.

"Hey, Sabrina. What's up?" I asked her.

"You know how you asked for Caliban back?" Sabrina asked me.

"Yes."

"Surprise," Sabrina said, moving away. I looked over to see Caliban standing there.

"Caliban?" I asked.

"Eva."

I looked over at Sabrina with a smile. She nodded her head at me. I smiled wider before running over to hug him. Caliban held onto me as he kissed my head.

"I missed you," I tell him.

"I love you," Caliban told me. I looked up at him before kissing him.

When I pulled away a little, Caliban leaned back in to kiss me once more. I pulled away to look over at Sabrina.

"Thank you, Brina," I said.

"You're welcome. Remember Caliban. Make sure you go back to the academy afterwards," Sabrina told him.

"Can't he stay the night at my place?" I asked her.

"Alright. But I need to show him where he'll be staying tomorrow," Sabrina told me.

"Okay," I nodded.

I looked over at Caliban who smiled down at me. I stared up at Caliban with so much love in my eyes.

"I missed you," I tell him.

"I missed you too."

"I have to finish cleaning up but we can lie on my bed and cuddle," I said.

"I'll help you clean."

"I'm almost done. It's okay," I said.

After I finished cleaning, I took Caliban back up to my room. I straddled Caliban's waist as we kissed on my bed.

"Eva, I need to ask you something," Caliban said. I got off of him so he could sit up.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" Caliban asked me.

"I'd love to be your girlfriend," I tell him before kissing him once more.

I cuddled up close to Caliban as we lied back down on my bed. Caliban held me close to his chest. I looked up at Caliban who had his eyes closed.

"Caliban?"

"Yes, my love?"

"Please don't leave me ever again," I asked him. Caliban opened his eyes to look at me.

"I would never leave you, Evangeline. Even if I could I wouldn't," Caliban told me before kissing my forehead.

"Goodnight, Caliban."

"Goodnight, Evangeline."
