Wanwan's POV

   Black. All around me is black. Nothing else. The mood, the atmosphere. It's so depressing. Nothing, no one in sight. I walk on, only finding out that this is an endless space.

In the distance, I could hear a faint voice. I couldnt make out who it was, though. But it seems like they're calling out to me.

   "....N! ...wan! Wanwan!" the voice got louder. Wanting to find out more, I tried running towards the voice.

  However, the closer I get to it, the further it gets away. My breaths started to speed up as my energy was slowly running out. Using what strength I had left, I reached out and shouted,

   "Dont leave me!"

~~~~~
My eyes opened, only to get stung by the bright light facing me. My vision was still blurry, but soon got adjusted. Regaining consious, I looked around and saw that I was in the medical room, lying on a bed. Beside me was a table with a cup of water and some bread. I sat up, but suddenly felt a stinging pain on my stomach. I flinched, thus waking Chang'e up.
   "Big Sis! You shouldnt move around so much! Your wounds are not healed yet!" she said, rushing over to my side. I stared at the girl, still trying to comprehend what happened.
   "W-what happened...?" I manage to get those words out from my dry throat.
   "I dont know how you got these cuts, but earlier today Big Bro Zilong, Ling and Baxia came back from looking for you. You were unconsious as Baxia carried you back. Apparently you ran out.." she patiently explained.
  After hearing that explanation, I immediately remembered what happened. I was walking in the forest, when suddenly someone attacked me. I still dont remember the person's face, but that guy... was definitely an assassin. If I remember, his weapon needed blood to work...
 I was caught deep in my thoughts when the door suddenly opened with Baxia, Zilong and Ling running in. Baxia quickly ran up to me, his eyes red possibly from crying.
  "Wanwan!!! I'm so sorry!! I'm the tank of this team, but I didnt even protect you!!" he wailed like a baby. This made me smile, at least.
   "Its okay, Baxia. Really. Its my fault, actually. I shouldnt have ran out like that, knowing I'm the most fragile hero here..." I said.
   "Um.. if you dont mind me asking... why did you run out? Did something happen?" Zilong asked me.
   "Well, today-" i said, immediately stopping. I remembered the conversation I had before running out. The conversation I had with Ling. The words he said. What he told me. All those words, those lies. They-
   "Um... I think we should leave Big Sis to rest for now... We dont want her to get even more pressured..."Chang'e said. I was thankful she said that, because that saves me the trouble of explaining my actions.
   "But, we havent told her about the person she fought-" Zilong said, but was cut off.
   "You guys. Leave. I'll stay. I need to talk to her" Ling said fiercely. I flinched at his words. The thought of being in the same room as him after what he said made my stomach churn with dread.
  "Oh... okay then. We'll be on our way" Zilong gave in, grabbing Chang'e's hand and walking out of the room with Baxia.
Ling's POV
 I stared at the marksman in front of me. In bed, bandages all over. A fragile tiger who possesses incredible power.
   "Hey, about today-" I said, but was interrupted.
   "I dont need to hear it. I dont want to believe you. You're lying." Wanwan said, staring at the ground.
  "Just hear me out, will you?" I pushed on, walking towards her. She flinched as I got closer. Is she... scared of me?
   "Listen.. what I said before... it may not be true.. but I was saying those because I've seen him before. I know how much you respect him, how much you love him. But he possesses a power none has ever seen. And if he happens to get on the wrong side..." I explained, staring at Wanwan in the eyes.
   She tried to avoid my gaze, but ended up looking up at me. Her eyes were full of fear and uncertainty.
   "Look, I dont need you to believe me. I just want to warn you, so you can stay alert next time."
After I said that, she immediately stood up, wincing at the pain at her stomach. However, she still stood up, trying her best to ignore the pain.
   "Shut up! Shut up! How is this gonna help me?! How is telling lies about my master supposed to make me stronger?! What do you even gain from this?!" she shouted loudly, sweeping the cup of water and bread off the table. With a crash, the cup shattered into pieces on the floor.
  I stood up and tried to grab a hold of her. She struggled as she tried to get out of my grip, but I held on onto her shoulders as hard as I can to stop her from running away.
   "Let go of me! Dont touch me! I hate you! You freaking lying bastard! Why are you doing this?! Give me a good reason for all these!" she shouted and screamed. Her voice started cracking and wavering, and I realised she was about to cry.
  Tears started rolling down her cheeks as she struggled more. Damn it, I cant look at this. The sight of seeing a comrade like this... it brings back memories. Bad memories, that I've sealed away. Memories that I never want to remember again. No... dont remind me of that...
  Not being able to stand this anymore, I blurted out what came first to my mind.
"Because I like you, you damn crybaby!"
