"Long time no see, brother..." a deep, eerie voice broke the silence.
Baxia trembled at the sight in front of him. He refused to believe this was all happening, right there on the spot. He doesnt want to remember anything to do with his childhood friend,
Yu Zhong.
"Yu Zhong?! What are you doing here?!" Zilong asked in a rather rude manner, pointing his finger at the Black Dragon.
Just then, an invisible force pulled Zilong, Baxia and Chang'e together, stunning them and taking them by surprise. They noticed the Yin-Yang marks on top of their heads, and grew more anxious.
Luo Yi had her arm extended out towards them, maintaining the force pulling them together. "You are not to talk to Master like that. Apologise at once." she said, expressionless, her eyebrows creasing.
They managed to break free from the force and the stun, catching their breath and panting. "N-never... and who the hell are you?!" Zilong said back.
A voice behind Yu Zhong and Luo Yi interrupted them. In a casual, bored and slightly annoyed tone, the person spoke out, "Sheesh, are introductions really necessary right now? Lets just get this over and done with, I wanna play."
Chang'e recognised the voice. With a trembling voice, she stuttered out, "B-Big Sis..? Is that you?"
Baxia and Zilong flinched when she said that. They looked at the person, trying to make out Wanwan's figure. However, the Wanwan they saw wasnt the one they always knew.
Chest puffed out and hands on her waist, Wanwan replied with a huge grin on her face, "Oh? I'm surprised you still remember me. I mean, with all these changes." Wanwan gestured to herself. Her clothes, her eyes, her hair. Even her crossbow was different.
Two horns grew from the side of her head, similar to Yu Zhong's. A sleeveless, tattered purple top along with long, black baggy pants, which were also tattered. Her hair was let down, not in her usual hairstyle. Strands of hair stood out here and there, as if she hasnt combed it down in days. Her sclera(the white part of ur eye) was all black, with her pupil contrasting it with a bright yellow colour. Her tail turned purple with black stripes, the fur all fuzzy.
Her crossbows were completely different. Instead of the shape of a tiger's roaring face, it changed into a dragon. More spikes appeared, little purple gems decorated it. Her darts were bigger and more sharper. The hue of the metal was darker, but it looked more polished and shiny.
Her forehead had the same symbol Yu Zhong has. Just a little shape like that was enough to send shivers down Zilong's spine. However, he noticed something different. Something that made him snap inside.
In the middle of her chest laid the Reverse Scale. Some veins surrounded it, making it seem like they were slowly pulling it into her chest.
Zilong looked back at Yu Zhong, ready to kick some ass. "How could you?! You need to remove the scale from her now! Or else she'll be seriously hurt!!"
Luo Yi was about to retort back at Zilong, but Yu Zhong put an arm in front of her. Wanwan spoke up.
"Oh my, you're actually worried for me?" Wanwan asked in a mocking tone.
Zilong was confused at what she said. "H-huh?! What are you saying? I worry for everyone!"
"Pfft, hahaha! Pathetic joke, just. Pathetic." Wanwan laughed, but grew serious, her eyes giving off a different aura.
Everyone felt uneasy with this. Chang'e trembled in fear, tears forming in her eyes. Just then, her little rabbit hopped off from her lap and started to make its way to Wanwan.
"Hey, come back here!" Chang'e exclaimed, hovering towards the rabbit with her arms extended out.
"Chang'e, no!" Baxia shouted, but she didnt listen.
A single dart pierced through the rabbit. The then moving and hopping rabbit was now laid on the floor, unconcious and not moving. Blood started oozing out from where the dart pierced through.
Chang'e screeched in horror as she stopped in her tracks. Her eyes grew as wide as saucers, staring at her dead bunny. She had to cover her mouth as to not make a sound. Her entire body trembled in fear, beads of sweat trickled down her face.
She was frozen. She doesnt know what do to. Panic started to rise in her.
"I've always found that rabbit annoying." Wanwan said, her face merciless. Her arm was still in its position from shooting the rabbit. Slowly, her arm made its way to face Chang'e, her crossbow ready to shoot another dart.
"Chang'e!!" Baxia shouted as loud as he could. It that split second, he managed to shield the Moon Palace Immortal from the incoming dart.
"Aw man. That couldve been my second kill. Come on, Baxia, move aside!" Wanwan whined.
"Wanwan! What is wrong with you?! We're your comrades, your family?! Dont you remember?!" Zilong exclaimed, growing desperate to get the marksman to come to her senses.
Wanwan raised an eyebrow in curiosity. "Family, hm? I wish that were true."
"Huh...?"
"Only wanting me for my power and skills... you're a selfish one, Zilong. Everything was a lie. You all told me lies, tried to deceive me. Especially Ling. Desperately telling me Yu Zhong is bad."
Tears started to fall down Chang'e's cheeks. "B-Big Sis...! Youre mistaken! W-we all love you, and would never f-focus only on your power!"
Wanwan smiled. Then giggled. Then laughed. Laughed hysterically.
"Is that so?! Then tell me!! Tell me why Ling left to another squad!! Tell me why he betrayed us!! Tell me!!" she was going insane. Her eyes were wide as she wore a huge smile on her face.
Chang'e was terribly frightened at this and clutched onto Zilong as tightly as she could. "B-Big Bro.."
"Oh, and one more thing! Zilong isnt your brother! Nor me, Baxia or Ling! No one at all!" Wanwan exclaimed, opening her arms wide.
Chang'e cried more. All this were too much for a little girl.
"Wanwan, thats enough! Snap out of it! I know there's still some you inside!" Baxia shouted.
Clapping from behind Wanwan interrupted the moment.
"Thats quite enough, dont you think? How about we get into some serious action?" Luo Yi said, glancing over to Yu Zhong.
A huge, bright Yin-Yang magic circle formed below their feet. Before they knew it, they were standing on a huge platform, way up in the sky. So high you couldnt see anything down there. Just clouds.
Yu Zhong let out a roar, transforming into his Black Dragon form. Soon enough, the dragon was staring into Zilong, Baxia and Chang'e's eyes. Wanwan got into her stance, ready to fight.
Wanwan had a grin from ear to ear, saying the words,
"Now, why dont we have some fun?!"
