Layla's POV

 Oh my gosh.. I swear to Gord, these kids are giving me a headache... but its alright! I'm used to it! However, all thats happening in this basement is pure chaos..

"Harley, stop chewing on Harith's tail! I have some snacks for you to stress-eat on!" I called out to Harley, grabbing my bag and taking out some bread and biscuits. They're not much, since I took them from the dining hall as Miya rushed me. Harley took the bread, and the others soon joined.

Nana was hugging Molina, Lylia was trying to perform magic with Gloom, Harith still shocked at the harassment towards his tail, Cyclops and Diggie were playing rock-paper-scissors. 

"Kikikaka! The strings of my puppet got tangled up! Could you help me with that?" Angela said, holding out her doll towards me. I sighed and took the doll, wondering how it even got tangled in the first place. Just then, I felt a slight tug at the hem of my dress. I looked down and saw Chang'e.

"Big Sis Layla... why are we hiding in a basement? And why cant we go out and fight?" she asked me, eyes full of curiosity and a hint of sadness in her voice.

"Well..." I started, working on Angela's doll. "Tigreal says this basement is 100% safe for hiding. Dont worry about that. And as for you all fighting, I absolutely refuse. You all are still too young, and dont know many things. Yes, you are all very powerful mages and supports. But the enemies are way more intelligent than you think. Without you knowing, they could use your weaknesses against you." I explained, finally untangling the doll. I handed it back to Angela and she took it gratefully. Chang'e looked pretty disappointed, but didnt talk back.

"B-but my Molina is the one they fear most! Let me battle!" Nana protested, holding up Molina. Then, Harley joined in.

"No one can escape my sights! Powerful yet majestic, my Ring of Fire will burn them down mercilessley!" Soon, everyone joined in, telling me about how their skills are useful and that they wanna battle. Man, for what did I explain it for?

Before I could quieten them down, an explosion interrupted us. The whole place shook, making everyone scream and get down on the floor, covering their heads. Angela gave us some shield, and I got ready my canon for an enemy might have entered the castle. After moments of silence, we all got back up, slowly relaxing. Their breaths were all staggered, everyone was frightened. Soon, everyone was calmed and collected.

Just then, I heard 4 unfamiliar voices in the battlefield. I looked out a tiny hole in the wall and saw 4 figures fighting. 4 people whom I have not met. Just... just who are they?

No one's POV

 The Oriental Fighters arrived at the battlefield, shocked upon arriving. Shadows and clones were attacking, breaking down building and causing chaos. The Lightborn Squad, including Silvanna, were fighting with all their might. As Silvanna saw the fighters, she called out to them.

"Fight these shadows! Dont focus on the kills, though! Our main focus is to protect the Empire! Do not go overbroad!!"

Wanwan and Miya were the first to react. Wanwan dashed towards the battle, dogding debris. Miya entered her camo state, turning invisible and untargetable. Baxia followed closely to the two marksmen, making sure they do not get hurt.

Miya activated her Fission Shot, hitting multiple shadows heading her way. Boy, do not mess with a late-game Miya. Her arrows are deadly and live up to her saying, "One shot, one kill"

Wanwan threw her Fire Swallow, stunning multiple enemies and activating her Tiger Pace. Dodging the attacks, she circled around one shadow, breaking their Weaknesses. This resulted in the activation of her overpowered-cancerous-ultimate ( as said by Shinmen ). She then shoots a rain of darts to shadows in the air, wiping them out. Zilong stared, finally realising what she meant by "wiping out a nation".
