hello and here's your long awaited chapter 19 sorry for making yall wait this long :((
Third Person POV
Words could not describe how much Wanwan wanted to dig a deep hole in the ground and stay there for the rest of her life. The amount of embarrassment she had was enough to make her freak out uncontrollably, but she somehow managed to not freak out :0
As for Ling, he pretty much was feeling the same way she was feeling. Yeah, he looks calmed and relaxed on the outside, but right now he's freaking out on the inside.
Both stared at each other for what seemed like forever, not moving an inch.
"Wow, he's flawless.." Wanwan thought to herself.
"I never knew she was this pretty.." Ling said in his head.
Wanwan immediately snapped back to reality. She shook her thoughts away and looked down, letting the current position she was in sink in.
"O-o-oh my gosh! Im so sorry! I hope I didnt hurt y-you...!" She apologised, trying to stand back up. However, her ankle wouldnt let her. So she slipped and fell back down, now their faces closer than before.
Ling stared wide-eyed at her, which made Wanwan stop functioning her mind. Slowly, his eyes drifted to her lips. Both of them were now a blushing mess, not knowing what to do.
"Kagura, can you shut the fuck up?!" They heard someone whisper-shout from behind a wall. They both flinched and tried to get up. Wanwan stumbled, but managed to balance herself and stand up. Ling got up quickly, taking a step away from Wanwan to make it look not as awkward as it was. They tried to act casual and pretend everything was normal. Ling scratched the back of his neck and looked around, trying to make it seem like he was observing the place. Wanwan stared blankly at a potted plant next to her.
"Damn it, Hanabi! You ruined the moment!" They heard Zilong's voice announce from behind the wall.
"Shh, its not my fault Kagura kept talking about how sweet love is and gushing over it!"
Ling made his way to the wall, no one noticing him. Only when he gave his death-glare did they feel his presence. They all stared at him, scared shitless.
"Y-Yo, Ling! Hows it g-going?" Baxia stuttered.
Ling continued to stare at them, total silence between everyone. Wanwan was behind him, still a blushing mess after what happened.
Wanting to break the silence and change the topic, Chang'e said, "Hey! Lets register out already! I wanna go to a restaurant that just opened last week! Nana told me the food there are to die for!" She hovered on her crescent moon towards the entrance.
Everyone soon followed her. As Hayabusa passed Ling, he said to him, "Great move there, my friend." and patted him on the shoulder.
Before exiting, Hanabi gave Wanwan a thumbs-up and winked at her. This only made the poor tiger blush even more.
Right now, Ling and Wanwan were the only ones left in the place. The rest were waiting outside for them.
A sigh escaped Ling's lips as he looked at the girl, cheeks a little red. He hesitated to speak for a while.
"S-so.. you still have trouble walking?" He asked her. She snapped out of her second daze and looked up at him.
"H-Huh?! Oh, well... yeah kinda." She said, looking at the ground due to embarrassment. Just them, she felt something grab onto her arm.
She looked up and saw Ling looking the other way, so she couldnt really see his face. She heard him say, "I cant just leave you here with a twisted ankle... so I'll support you for now."
