"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY??!??!1!"
"NO WAIT YOU MISHEARD!"
"I DIDNT MISHEAR SHIT"
"Oh my, is this a bad time?"
Both of them turned their heads to face Layla, who was standing in the doorway.
"Of course not! Come in!" Wanwan replied rather too loudly out of desperation to get the awkward tension away.
"Pardon my intrusion, I'm here to deliver a letter from Princess Silvanna." Layla said.
"Huh? Why Silvanna? And for what?" Ling asked.
"Sorry, I cant answer that. This letter isnt for me, so I cant read it." She answered and handed the envelope to Wanwan, which she took in curiosity.
"Now then, I shall take my leave. Oh, and.." Layla said, turning around to leave.
"Congratulations!" she said with an innocent smile, closing the door behind her before Wanwan could attack her.
Not wanting to waste anymore time, Wanwan opened the envelope and read the letter inside. Written in neat cursive handwriting, it was an apology letter from Silvanna. She wrote how guilty she felt after witnessing Yu Zhong and Luo Yi taking her away and that she could not do anything. She apologised that she and her Lightborn Squad were unsuccessful in saving or even protecting her. She felt guilty that they could not do anything to be of help.
After reading the letter knowing that Silvanna was sincere, Wanwan felt a tug on her heart. She never wanted anyone to bear the guilt and pain because she was weak. She never wanted anyone else to get hurt because of her.
"...you okay?" Ling asked, noticing how her mood darkened after reading the letter.
"I dont know... I guess not?" she replied, her body trembling.
However, Zilong burst into the room before Wanwan could cry. With tears in his eyes, he scrambled around the room.
"HELP MEEE THE MEDICINE IS DISGUSTINGGG TIGREAL'S GONNA SHOVE IT DOWN MY THROAT AGAINNNN"
"honestly its not that bad." Baxia said, trailing behind him.
"Big Sis! Youre okay!" Chang'e cried, running towards Wanwan with her arms extended. Soon, the emotions started flooding the marksman and she went on an apology rampage again.
"Chang'e! I'm so sorry! Im sorry for everything! From hurting you to even killing your rabbit! I'm sorry!!" Wanwan said in between sobs. However, Chang'e only stared at her and didnt feel sad at all.
"Oh, the Great Dragon revived it for me! See?" She held up her rabbit, which was now in perfect and healthy condition.
"Oh." was all Wanwan could say as she stared blankly at the animal, embarrassment starting to take over.
"Big Bro Zilong found the rabbit somehow, and he ran all the way to where Master Great Dragon was and desperately asked for it to be revived. However, the Master wants to see all of us once you get discharged.."
"When are you gonna get discharged?" Ling asked.
"Uhm, in a week or so I think..."
And so the day ended with the three of them watching Baxia trying to chase down Zilong, who was refusing to even look at the medicine.

A week has passed, and everyone has fully recovered. On the day they were supposed to meet their Master, too.
As they left the hospital, saying goodbye to Rafaela and everyone who took care of them over the week, Ling stopped in his tracks just as they were leaving the building.
"Ling? You good?" Zilong asked, mouth full of snacks he snuck from the front counter.
"Before we head back... there's one place I want to go to.." he said.
"Hm? Where to?"
"To my Dragon Tamers."
